Hey guys, im in the process of reorganizing my collection and need some ring attire date help. Are the bret hart and anvil neidhart from elite 43 representative of their 87 title run or 90 title run? Thank you in advance.

I think 1990 for the attire and for some reason they gave Bret his 87 glasses

Except they don't because Bret is wearing the same gear that he has in the 8x10 from 1990

We need the 97 Hart Foundation complete. Canadian Stampede style.

Bret's glasses were definitely 87 but attire is late 90/91 so a combination.

Seems so yep, think they messed up with the glasses I forgot which previous Flashback they did the same thing with but they wanted a figure that was combo of 2 popular looks. I sense this happen for the Hart Foundation because Mattel don't know when they might to do another Neidhart. Jim is sadly just an eightball away from WWE dropping him from his Legends contract.

Wasn't it Legends 6 Warrior belt? they wanted to showcase the yellow but used the winged eagles belt?

The face and glasses felt more 87-88 to me since the figure was released, while the attire is definitely was 90. It's still by far my favorite Hart figure to date.
It's crazy to me to remember that one of the greatest workers of his era spent 6 years in a tag team before going on to be one of the top stars of the 90's. Same with Michaels. I think the Usos have been on the main roster since 2010 or 2011, but that's about it. It feels like some teams are teasing breakup angles within 6 months of making it to the main roster.

Seems so yep, think they messed up with the glasses Yes they did, the glasses should have been the plastic shades that Bret used to give away to fans before the start of every match. These look like the same sunglasses that Bossman comes with and IMO they don't go with this figure, they are too big and look terrible on him. I believe the plastic shades were released with the Bret Hart Wrestlemania XXX flashback elite figure so they already exist, not sure why they didn't use them as they are the correct glasses to use with this attire.

I hate it when Mattel doesn't put the attire date for flashbacks on the boxes anymore

1987: 1990: That pic is GOLD. 1987 WHAT A TIME. 85 was tha sh*t, 86 was lil rocky with WM II but '87...FULL FORCE. Anybody remember the hostess stickers n poster that came out for WM III and IV? Jesus, Hostess must have sold a gazillion bags of chips those two years lol And ya know what - I DO want a Dangerous Danny Davis fig, baby!
