As a kid who grew up on the Hasbro line, one of the big things that drew me back into buying wrestling figures was seeing some of my childhood favorites recreated by Mattel. With the potential to have Warlord and Berzerker in upcoming lineups I wanted threw together a quick spreadsheet this weekend of Hasbro figures that Mattel created in the same or nearly identical attires. I thought this might be of interest to some here, but I apologize if this is old news.

Just a could quick notes - wrestlers who haven't been produced or were produced in other gimmicks (Billy Gunn, Repo Man, Crush) are in bold. Wrestlers who don't have a series listed next to them were produced, but not in that attire. It's a bit subjective. I count the shirtless Hasbro Series 5 Hogan as being different from the Defining Moments Hogan, since even though the look is identical the Hasbro body type is closer to post-roids Hogan.

I think it's safe to say Bill and company have gone out of their way to match attires to the Hasbro figures when possible. It's also worth noting that while there are only 2 wrestlers missing from the early 90's releases (Valentine and Koko), the list grows fast once you start getting into the New Generation.

There are so many in bold that id love to have as Mattel's. Repo Man, Mountie, KoKo, Ludvig....sucks they won't e out anytime soon. It literally makes me cry that Koko was planned and would be out by now haha.

I did this about six months ago on my Instagram (@vintagetoybob) --- Follow me to see more.

Here's a handful that I did. I haven't gotten to the newer stuff that is the same. I think anything released after the Sid Justice basic is still to be done at some point. Also, there were a few I didn't do since I have them MOC and not loose.

I added in similar LJNs to the photos too, since I have a full set of both hasbros and ljns.
