I can't believe I sat there watching for 7 hours straight. Honestly only felt like 2 or 3 hours. Time just flew by. That's when you know it's a really good show.

Well brothers besides all that other Chocolate Shark it's rotten of them not to have Hogan on in his home town and use his colors all night. You know he's gotta be looking at the tv like a sad puppy tonight.

Personally I thought it was a really bad show. Can't really say it was a bad Wrestlemania since most of them seem to be bad now. AJ vs Shane was good, Hardyz was a great moment, everything else was kinda terrible or pretty watchable, but the watchable stuff was dampened by the fact that the show seemed to last the entire month of April, and the crowd were really feeling it at times.
They won't do it, but imo they need to change just about everything about how they do Wrestlemania. The length has become completely ridiculous, putting too many people on the card dilutes the whole show, and the over-reliance on 50 year old men REALLY hurt them this year. The focus as shifted almost entirely away from actually providing a quality product, and I'd like to think they can't just keep relying on the "spectacle" and the part timers to sell tickets every year. They probably can though.
The grandeur of Wrestlemania has gone from a great addition and selling point, to literally the only selling point. It's completely style over substance now. The card was weak on paper, and delivered roughly to expectation. Crowd was flat, performances were flat, world class talent was either misused or not used at all, and 3 out of the 4 main eventers didn't have the gas to go longer than 10 minutes. The other guy was Roman Reigns. BOTH world titles changed and I don't think anyone even cares. Tomorrow night they're gonna tell us it was the greatest Wrestlemania of all time.
Raw might be dope though

All I can think about is envisioning seeing someone like Dean Ambrose get the huge rub of being the guy to retire The Undertaker instead of Reigns. All the crap that they've put him through and he somehow managed to keep himself quite over and has been the ultimate workhorse for the past two years.

Would have preferred Cena be the one to retire Undertaker but i guess this will do. Was a much better show than I anticipated. Hardys return was fantastic. AJ/Shane was better than expected but you can thank the ref bump for that. Rollins/HHH was also great. Cut the pre show to 1 hour, Put Aries/Neville on main card over the performances and get rid of half the packages and replays. What an exhausting day. Started at 5 and I didnt finish until almost 1230 because my Network kept crashing as usual.

Came to read everyone eat crow on the AJ/Shane match. I was pleased. It was a pretty good match because AJ is awesome and Shane tried really hard. If AJ had a match with a real wrestler, it would have been even better. I think it was the best match on the show - either that or the Tag Ladder Match. But there were several real stinkers this year, too.

All in all it was a good show the Pre-show was awful but it. I hoped the show was gonna be good because on paper the match line-up looked pretty weak, and it went past my expectations. Undertaker leaving his coat and hat in the ring was pretty hard to watch though.

All in all, probably the worst Mania I've ever seen(I've seen all of them since the New Gen). None of the matches were really that/any good. Jeff's Swanton and Stephanie falling through the table were the only In-ring things that were any good. I guess Owens/Jericho was decent especially the finger on the rope spot, but it felt like a RAW match. Same thing with the Crusierweight match, good but not amazing; it didn't really feel special.
Moment wise The Hardy's take the cake obviously. Great moment right there.
It's sad to see Taker go but it wouldn't sting as much if we could've had someone else to get the rub and not Wrestling's Most Forced guy of all time. I don't want to see Reigns win, I don't want to see Reigns lose, I just don't want to see him at all. Shoehorning him into Taker's Legacy as the guy to retire him blows.

Second uneven Wrestlemania in a row, way too long, too many matches, pacing was way off ... but man that main event was perfect. All the emotion and action that you could want. And you retire on your back, putting Roman over was absolutely the right move.
I may not love Roman's character like a lot of people on here, but he was spectacular tonight. Credit where credit is due.

He's going to drop it to someone newer

Mojo winning sucked, is he HHHs' Roman. I know he won just so WWE could get Gronk.
Neville winning was not the right call in my mind, Aries was the one guy that had a chance. Aries should have won and Neville goes up for the US Title.
IC Championship is on the pre Show? What the hug? Corbin should have won here hands down, Ambrose doesn't need the win nor the title.
AJ should have been against a wrestler , Ziggler deserves a one on one and this would have been a great match, or Apollo Crews, AJ could have made Crews look like a million bucks even by beating Crews at least you get a new star out of it.
Women title match no complaints, other than mania should have been the place Bayley won the title originally.
Ladder match was good, should have been Enzo and Cass time and not the Hardys.
Owens Jericho was good,
Triple H Rollins was good, liked the ending, Stephanie finally getting some back is always a good thing.
Bray vs Wyatt...did anyone care? And Orton should have lost.
Smackdown women's match...the least over, least deserving girl wins? WTHug?
Brock vs Goldberg was actually pretty fun, high impact moves , didn't give the crowd time to crap all over it. No complaints from me.
Roman vs Undertaker.... Roman should have played to the crowd more, not to bad. I have always hated undertaker and Roman is just there to me.
Cena miz. Miz should have won this. Cena didn't have any momentum to keep and his proposal was the the WM moment for him. Miz has built up all this heat the past year and then could have added that Cena can't beat him at the big show. But no they waste all that work for super Cena who is going to disappear until summerslam.
And my gosh the time, get this thing back down to four hours, and stop with the part timers , if the mania spectacle is what sells Wrestlemania then fifty year old part timers shouldn't be needed.

He's going to drop it to someone newer I only feel as if Reigns is a failing experiment at the big baby face position. They are going to use retiring taker as a way to promote how great he is but will wind up failing because the crowd just isnt into him like that. It'll basically counter their entire direction with Reigns. And somehow, he will stil be looked at as an underdog in the future. Now if Reigns was treated as a heel, for the better part of the last 3 months, it would be a success. The heat for retiring Undertaker would be off the charts and hell, I dont think they have anybody on the RAW roster that could match up as a babyface to oppose Reigns. Maybe Balor or Nakamura but thats it. And thats not a bad thing. Would force them to build up multiple faces.

Wrestlemania 2000 (or 16 to some people) is somewhere celebrating the fact that it is no longer the worst Wrestlemania ever, right now.
My god that was an awful, awful show. I'm not trying to be one of those jaded, negative, Internet goofs, but man that was bad. A couple decent matches, but all in all it felt like a 7 hour filler ppv like Battleground or something, with the exception of Taker retiring, and the Hardys returning. On paper it looked like it would be a really good show too.
I really hope this is the last time they do one of these ridiculously long Mania's. Quality over quantity please.

One of the better Manias from start to finish in a long time....
What I didn't like - - the smackdown women's championship match - mixed tag was awful, I mean really awful - Bray/Randy probably would have been a better opener. Match was ok but hated seeing Orton win - Jericho/Owens was great with a lousy finish - cut down the videos, music performance and the entrance aisle and the show would flow smoother - was taken out of the IC bout being on the pre show

Enzo and Cass got screwed in NXT by not getting the titles, and now they get screwed again. No need for the Hardy's to win. Also, Reigns has had three consecutive WM main events now and Punk didn't get one. Just stop for a minute and think about just how ridiculous that is.

I'm trying to figure out what mania some you guys watched, some of you guys are straight s*iting on this mania , this is probably the best mania we've had in awhile , this was far superior to WM 32, probably one of the the top 5 best ending to mania or any other wrestling event we've seen with taker retiring
