Hey Mattel, think we'll get an all rubber Universal championship like the World title TRU Cash In Rollins came with? Or did all the whiners ruin any chances of that happening?

I didn't like these that we'll myself. I am hoping they make them a bit longer though so bigger wrestlers can wear them.

I'm fine with them as long as A) They help lower the cost of figures and B) They use a rubber that won't get sticky when we inevitably paint them.
EDIT: I just looked at one of those rubber belts, the detail doesn't seem to lose much crispness. Of course I still like the "constructed" look with separate panels much more, so if price won't change then keep the separate panels.

I wish. The pegs on the Universal title plates are so big that it makes the belt look ridiculously bulky when wrapped around a figure. I might slice those off and glue the plates to the strap once I get an extra.
In a perfect world, Mattel would model their belts off of Round 5's method.

I'm kinda on the fence with the single mold belts. While there's better detail, I like the VAC/shine to the plated belt. If they could make the all rubber belts shiny in the plates, or find some medium, I'd be all for it.
I really wish they would make interchangeable side plates like the real belts have. I'd be all over that, and it would make up for figures that lack or have no need for accessories. Or even have a line where every figure comes with their respectable side plates.

I'd be okay with that if they did it for all the current belts. I'm so OCD I hate having an era's straps all in different styles. I still don't have the current vac WWE title and it bugs me, but I don't need another of any of the figures that come with it.

Why would anyone want that garbage?
& How is complaining about a terrible quality belt which doesn't justify the price of a $20 figure, when we've gotten great belts before, make us whiners?

The thing that got me into collecting Elites was the shiny VAC-ness of the title included with E22 Rock. If it had been that rubber crap, I never would've gotten it. People complain about this and that on TRU Rollins but as far as I'm concerned, the only problem is that damn belt. Same with E37 Brock. If we HAVE to have rubber accessories, keep them for the god-awful shirts/jackets. Leave the belts alone.

I like that belt personally, it looks more realistic when you put it on a figure, as the side plates do stick out and look a bit ugly at times
That said, you can't beat the shiny quality of the VAC belts

I'm sure they'll do one for an Owens/Goldberg BP down the line.

I'd be all over that, and it would make up for figures that lack or have no need for accessories. Or even have a line where every figure comes with their respectable side plates. I don't mind rubber if the belt would benefit from it. The NXT Women's Title and both RAW/SD Women's belts need to be a single mold so they can actually fit on the small waists of the female figs without plates making them huge as hell. I think that's why we've yet to see another NXT title pack in or why the Universal title was rushed but not the women's belts. Actually, we also saw the SD Tag belt on Rhyno recently, so I think mattel is working on the women's championships in some fashion. I could be wrong and we might see just palette swapped WWE/Universal titles like I see on customs lol. About the side plates -- yeah, I think if they go through the trouble of packing in a belt, atleast make it for the superstar it comes with. I don't even use the network logo belts in my fed, but I'm sure others would love to have the sideplates. I even suggested some kind of sticker application to it. A 2 cent sticker sheet with an elite/belt would do wonders lol. But beyond that, I think the network belts don't come across well in figure form. They both need to be retooled IMO. Something just seems off about the design to me. Until then, I'll stick with the Big Gold lol.

I want them to stick with the VAC plated belts. But they really need to make the strap longer on the WWE Title/Universal TItle straps. Bray Wyatt can't wear the damn thing because he's fat and it's so short.

Hmmm, calling people whiners who don't share the same opinion as you. That's textbook Internet 101, for ya.

The majority didn't enjoy the titles, so mattel will most likely please the majority over an individual. Tbh though I don't know what the rubber belts are like, never had Rollins in UK. On pictures though I can definitely say Mattel were right to change it back.
