What's the deal with New Day (not) in red?

So there was B 64 Xavier in red, rather than blue (like B 60 Kofi & B 61 Big E). Now, with rumored/confirmed upcoming lineups, there is an Elite Big E on the horizon (with likely Kofi & Xavier coming also of course), as well as a solo basic Big E & BP Kofi & Xavier. Thus, presumably the latter three figures would be matching in another new color scheme, right? That appears to be the general consensus & sensible speculation. So does Mattel even plan on completing New Day in red, since they didn't complete them wearing blue in basic form, or did they goof big time by never releasing red versions of Big E and Kofi via BP/releasing a red Xavier in the first place? I would consider it unacceptable to make a single, stand alone New Day character in red! Let alone the unlikelihood and stupidity of re-releasing Xavier in red with Kofi in a BP plus the solo Big E. Obviously, they've already done light blue with white & pink in BP 43 + B 67. Those colors occurred after the red in real life, just as they logically did in figure form.

Since it seems they're moving on, based on all of that plus seeing the pink versions of the Tough Talkers Series 2, I would think it too late to go back and make red versions of Kofi & Big E at that point, no? Also, I find it a bit peculiar that I have yet to see anyone question this matter. Personally, I'd be fairly ticked if we don't receive the rest of them in red, as I was unsure if I should have bought the Xavier B 64, but did so just in case they completed the group, just as they indeed should. I doubt the three approaching basics are going to be in red, not to mention I'd rather them not be, especially considering the assortments (stand alone Big E this time and Kofi/Xavier together, as opposed to how Matty did their basics the previous two times around). Obviously, that would mean a second red Xavier, which is equally as silly/lame. Plus the timeline is off, so that's almost certainly not happening anyways. I didn't even enjoy the red that much really, but it does bug me regardless. Anyone else a bit inquisitive about this? If they messed up, it is what it is, but I'd like to hear Mattel clarify (they've made their money already anyways), just so we know for sure what gives . . .
