Aren't they on the hat in both the render and the actual figure?

I'm hoping it does look better from straight-ahead. I feel like the renders allow for better facial definition, and some of that is lost when moved to the figure.

From talking with a guy who sculpted some of Hasbro's Star Wars stuff, that's absolutely true. It's more obvious when it comes to very fine details.

Becky's face is kinda busted IRL so I think it looks accurate. wut She's not the prettiest, but I'd still plough it.

The only big difference I see is her squinty eyes on the actual figure. But, that could just be this particular paint app. We shall see! Either way, I think it's fuggin GLORIOUS!

Am I the only one who has always been underwhelmed with the entire female body mold and articulation? Mattel has raised the bar so high in almost every area, I think this is the next area that needs an overhaul.

It doesn't bother me when they're sold as Basics, because they're somewhere between Basic and Elite. It does bother me when they're sold as $20 Elites. I would get rid of the waist swivel and switch to a Marvel Legends style thing, but it may bring up other costs since the torsos are hollow.

Face is better than her basic figure. Mattel has a hell of a time with painting the faces of the women imo. Most of the actual scans are spot-on but the makeup, eyes, lips, something usually throws it off. I don't know what happened with that Sasha Elite but man is it bad. Becky looks pretty solid here though. The first Becky was pretty good in terms of likeness but she was making the weird face. I agree that this go-round is much better since it's a normal expression. As far as the render, that's not really ever something that's going to match perfectly. It's an idealized rendition of what the figure should be but a 2D render and a 3D piece of plastic are never going to be identical. Dang you stole the words right outta my mouth. There is a kid on IG who repaints female wrestling figures. Honestly the bone structure/sculpt is usually 100%. But once Mattrl paints them it throws it off a bit. You have to consider, these girls are done up by makeup artists. You have foundation, contour, highlight, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick...the works lol. You can't paint a figure like that. So rarely do they ever look spot on like some of the guys. To me, this face resembles Becky a lot. I wish they could have scanned her with a smile to fit her personality but hey it's okay. The only gripe I have is that dang jacket. Hate these rubber/plastic jackets. Way too hard to put on and off.

OP is right IMO. Render is far better than the actual figure. Sucks. Not sure why Mattel has such a hard time with head scans. Some come across extremely cartoonish.

I think the render looks better from the pictures. Hoping it looks much better in person.
