I love the Bayley Network Spotlight and I thought the Asuka figure was great too. I was very excited for the Elite 49 Becky Lynch, but the face has me pretty disappointed. I don't think I can bring myself to buy it, much like the Sasha Elite. The render they showed off last year was great - it just seems like there's a large dropoff on some of the womens' figures from the render to the actual production pieces.

Face is better than her basic figure.

Heads are the same, just looks different since the eyes are painted different, and pic is at a higher angle.
The coat got fatter :/
Is there some kind of safety issue that required the coat to be so bulky?

Becky's face is kinda busted IRL so I think it looks accurate.

It looks far superior to her Basic figure.

Just wait for when it shows up at retail before making a decision.

The final production figure's photo is taking at a bad angle (from high above). You will like the figure once you get a pic that is straight ahead.

as far as i can notice, the hair is closer to her face in the render, it spreads because of the jacket which makes it look different. the eyeshadows and makeup also play a big difference, the figure doesnt have it but the render does. most women figures look much better with makeup paint fixups

In the new figure prototype, if you get rid of the red hair... she has Boy George's face. Lol

I think it would be better if they engineered the hands to be removable like Marvel Legends because the bulky arms made this, Sasha and especially E50 Stephanie look like crap.

theres always a dropoff from renders.. thats why i hate renders. the face is still good but i will say they do need to work harder and getting the woman to look more like there real life counterpart. some divas do , others dont. too much inconstancy, thatd be my beef.

Mattel has a hell of a time with painting the faces of the women imo. Most of the actual scans are spot-on but the makeup, eyes, lips, something usually throws it off. I don't know what happened with that Sasha Elite but man is it bad.
Becky looks pretty solid here though. The first Becky was pretty good in terms of likeness but she was making the weird face. I agree that this go-round is much better since it's a normal expression.
As far as the render, that's not really ever something that's going to match perfectly. It's an idealized rendition of what the figure should be but a 2D render and a 3D piece of plastic are never going to be identical.
