I recently bought two Network Spotlight figures and I'm planning on returning one of the two soon. I have a Shawn Michaels Network Spotlight that I bought over the summer and kept MOC in storage; could I return that as well using the receipt from my recent purchase?
I hope this does not raise any integrity issues; I haven't done anything to the HBK and figured it'd be best if it got put back onto retail to someone who needs it.

If they have identical item codes and stuff like that as well as your receipt not having the name of the recently bought figure, then I guess they won't notice? Just make sure the recent receipt you have is in the time frame for returns.

The different Network figures have their own tag codes on the shelves, so I don't think they'll scan the same. Whether the employee at the store will know the difference is another matter.

Yeah, I don't think your new receipt will work maybe the employee will override it if not they can give you store credit without a receipt.

Best you can probably do is return without a receipt and get store credit for whatever the lowest price they had it. Or list it in classifies. I am sure with it currently being very hard to find, there are people on here willing to pay you what you paid plus cost to ship.

I work at TRU. The SKUs for the network spotlight figures are all different, so it won't work unless it's the exact same figure. If you try to use the receipt for a different figure, the register will indicate that the item is not on that receipt, whether or not the cashier knows the difference. So, if you try to return, say, the network spotlight Bayley using a receipt that you purchased the recent Finn Balor with, it won't work. This will work for items within a line that have a generic SKU. For example, you could return elite 41 Finn Balor using a receipt that you bought elite 45 Seth Rollins with. As others have said, TRU return policy for most items is 90 days, after which the receipt expires. You can ask to get store credit for the figure, which means the cashier can run the return through the system as a "No Receipt Return," but the system will search for a sale price (if there have been any discounts for that item) within the last 90 days or so. If there hasn't been any discounts on that item, you'll get the full return price. This is fine for small purchases, like this figure, but if you regularly return a large number of items without a receipt, the system itself will unfortunately decline you eventually, even if the managers don't mind. Alternatively, you could ask to exchange it for another figure. This would be up to a manager's discretion, but we usually don't mind doing this at the store I work at, especially if the figure is unopened. As a lowly retail employee, I would ask that if you decide to make a complaint at the store, at least please ask for a manager. Don't take it out on some poor cashier such as myself. Hope this helps.

You'd probably make your money back and more selling it on eBay or the classifieds here tbh.
