I just came to the conclusion. I love WWE Elite Figures. They bring back the nostalgia of when I would find Hasbro back in the day.
The Packages, the box art and the articulation and likeness of the figures pulls me right in. When I walk into a store and turn to the wrestling aisle, and see an elite set, it's like I am a kid again.
Hasbro, nothing could replace them. But as of now Elites blow them away. I could care less to ever see them again.

I could care less to ever see them again. I feel much the same way you do. The first wrestlers set I had more than a couple of was the Hasbros. Had almost all of the first couple series. Unfortunately my mother tossed them in the garbage when she deemed me "too old" to still own toys. I moved on to Jakks and the BCAs. Had almost everything, and transitioned to the Titantron figures when they came out. Things happened and I sold most of what I had about the time the first Ruthless Aggression figures came out. I never cared for RA anyway. The muscles were freakishly huge and the heavy wrestlers were morbidly obese. Got back into collecting wrestlers when my wife bought me Elite 23 Undertaker. The Mattels bring back that nostalgia from my youth and look closer to the actual wrestlers than any set that has come before them. I've been buying ever since and have almost 200 figures. I know that a lot of people are excited about the "retro" figures that Mattel is producing in the old Hasbro style. I'm going to probably buy any Undertakers that come out, but I think that the Mattel elites are superior to all that have come before.

I've owned LJN,REMCO,GALOOB,HASBRO & JAKKS but Mattel elites make me smile. I lost over 80% of my near complete MOC classic jakks set due to a nasty break up with my youngest daughters mom but the elite series got me back in the game! Nothing beats Elites!

I wasn't into the Hasbro, had a few but I was really into the Jakks original series. I used to have series 1 MOC but sold them when I thought I was done. I started with the elite HoF series 1 and DM relaunch. I really enjoy the elites, the details take me back to the actual matches the wrestlers were in in the outfits they are in.

I loved Hasbros as a kid. They were the first wrestling action figure line I ever collected. However, the amount of detail and articulation with the Legends and Flashbacks from Mattel is staggering.
Just last week, I bought the Mattel Doink the Clown figure online. It arrived last weekend and I can't get over how amazing it is. I don't collect toys anymore. Plus, the price on these new Elite figures is really steep, but I wish I had this kind of detail in my figures when I was a kid.

I feel the exact same way! I only own Hasbro-era Mattel Elites. Same here. That is the great part, you can get your Hasbrouck fix threw the new elites. Just 10x better looking.
