Who referred to it as the reality era other than WWE just deciding to call it that all of a sudden? And how is an era only 2 years?

There's literally no difference between the PG Era, Reality Era and New Era lol. That's what I'm saying like what defines each era? I'd say it'd be the crop of talent and the tone of the show. The Hogan era for examplehad the rise of guys like Warrior, Savage, Hogan, Sid, Flair, Jake, Piper etc. The New Gen really took effect in 92 as Bret/Shawn/Razor etc all floated up the card and those who were even left from the Hogan era were way down. You also had the show shift from the black and white good guy vs. bad guy to more comic book-esque gimmicks but with a higher emphasis on workload (even guys like Doink could work). The AE really took off as Diesel/Razor had left, Bret and Shawn were on their way down the card and Austin/Rock were rising. RA when Rock and Austin took off and Cena/Batista/Brock/Orton group started rising.

Well if it's not the Attitude Era it probably doesn't matter.

You can define an era by who the Champion is.
Rock N Wrestling Era: Hulk Hogan 1984 - 1992
New Generation Era: Bret Hart 1992 - 1997
Attitude Era: Steve Austin & The Rock 1998 - 2002
Of course, the Ruthless Aggression Era gets blurry at best, since there are two brands with Raw and Smackdown and two separate champions, but it went from 2002 - 2008
PG Era aka Reality Era, aka New Era is still the same really, just different champions.
PG Era saw CM Punk as the main guy, Reality Era was Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan, and New Era is.... the same as PG and Reality. When John Cena and Randy Orton are in Title matches in the year 2017, then not a lot has changed in the past 15 years or so.

I largely group everything from the 80s up to WM9 together. My New Gen and AE/MNWs stuff is kind of all together, then I have RA to like 2011ish mixed together, and then more current stuff, which I largely consider CM Punk's 434 day title run/2012 and on.
It's not something I lose sleep over. The eras are clearly defined by WWE if you want to be neurotic about it.

For eras I go by year HM 84-92 NG 93-97 AE 97-01 RA 02-09 PG 10-14 NE 15- present I like your way of laying this out, I've been looking at my 80's and 90's shelves and not liking where some wrestlers fall. I have 6 shelves 80's 90's Attitude era/Wcw Monday night wars Ruthless aggression or stars not with the company anymore Current rosters. I wanna share photos of my shelves to see if anyone thinks certain figures based on there attires should be on certain shelves

We are starting to get a nice little collection of stars from before the Hulkamania era too, which is almost worthy of its own shelf now. Wild Samoans, Larry Z, Von Erichs, Bruno Sammartino, Magnum TA, Dusty Rhodes, Flair, etc.

I have it as follows
Hulkamania/Golden Era 1984-1991 New Generation Era 1992-1997 Attitude Era 1998-2001 Ruthless Aggression Era 2002-2008 PG Era 2009-current
The Roman Empire was supposed to start in 2015, but that obviously didnt happen. If 2014-2016 was a different era, it should be called the Authority Era because every Raw for 2 years revolved around HHH and Stephanie McMahon.

I suppose it would go Golden Age, which I believe was Hogan, Warrior, Savage ect Then New Generation, so Shawn, Diesel, Razor, Undertaker Attitude Era; Rock, Austin, DX, Kane Ruthless Aggression: Brock, Cena, Batista, Randy, Edge It gets a bit blurry after that, but I would say you have the PG era spanning from 2008 - 2016 when the 'New Era' began List of eras, these were officially dubbed in a recent poll on WWE's site. The Golden Age (‘80s to early ‘90s) Hogan, Savage, Warrior, etc New Generation Era (Early to mid ‘90s) Bret, Shawn Diesel, Taker, Razor, etc Attitude Era (mid ‘90s to early 2000s) Rock, Austin, Mankind, etc Ruthless Aggression Era (2002 to 2008) Cena, Lesnar, Orton, Batista, Edge PG Era (2008 to 2013) Punk, Cena, Jericho, Orton Reality Era (2014-2016) Bryan and The Shield The New Era (2016 to present) Finn, Owens, AJ, Wyatt, Miz

So 2 more questions...
1. The New Cactus Jack? Is that a Attitude Era or WCW shelf figure?
2. I Know there are two Vaders. Where does each belong?

Golden age is 80's New generation is early 90's Attitude era is late 90's ...then who cares after that. This, couldn't agree more. The best of Wrestling is likely behind us. I'm showing my age now. 'Back in my day blah blah blah' The best is behind us. Wrestling will never get as big as the days of Hulkamania or nWo. But that doesn’t mean the current crop aren’t capable of giving us entertainment. The WWE arguably have the most talented pool of wrestlers ever, there’s lots to care about for the current era.
