"The New Era"? Really? Stupid name that's only going to sound stupider as time goes by. Imagine referring to the late '10s as the "New Era" in the '30s. And what comes next? "The Newer Era" followed by "The Newest Era"?
Same goes for "Modern Era".
All those marketing geniuses at WWE should be able to come up with something better. Hell, truth is it's been the "Cena Era" for at least a decade as everything and everyone has been defined by their standing with John Cena. Only now is it becoming something else as he transitions to part-timer. "Part-timer Era" could work. Or "Rise of the Indy Star Era".
Sorry folks, woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and I'm taking it out on this thread.

I'd agree we could call the last 10 years the JC Era. Don't know what to call now though.

It has always felt to me like there was a distinct split between the eras of 1985-1988 and 1989-1992. There was a huge shift in production values, and the biggest names on the roster were either moved way down or gone altogether.
The era of Orndorff, Orton, Iron Sheik, Volkoff, Bundy, JYD, Adrian Adonis, the British Bulldogs, etc., feels like an entirely different promotion altogether from the era of DiBiase, Earthquake, Dusty Rhodes, the Legion of Doom, Undertaker, etc.
Personally, I have always defined those as the LJN era and the Hasbro era.

This, couldn't agree more. The best of Wrestling is likely behind us. I'm showing my age now. 'Back in my day blah blah blah' The best is behind us. Wrestling will never get as big as the days of Hulkamania or nWo. But that doesn’t mean the current crop aren’t capable of giving us entertainment. The WWE arguably have the most talented pool of wrestlers ever, there’s lots to care about for the current era. Hey man welcome to the boards and all but please stop bumping old threads, it's not allowed around here. The Classifieds board isn't that special.

While normally I'd be on the don't bump thread crape, this is a useful thread.

While normally I'd be on the don't bump thread crape, this is a useful thread. Agreed. Some threads are really useful and it’s neat/easier to just have the one rather than dozens of the same thread. For instance, I think recently someone made a new thread asking what Sherri figure we’d like to be made even though there was a previous thread where it had been decided right down to her attire what people wanted lol Maybe there should be a section on this forum for trending or top 10 threads of all time or something.

So 2 more questions... 1. The New Cactus Jack? Is that a Attitude Era or WCW shelf figure? 2. I Know there are two Vaders. Where does each belong? If you're referring to Elite 48 Cactus Jack, it's technically an ECW '95 attire. I keep it in my Attitude Era bin though because he didn't really change his look that much and I can't get my hands on the RSC Cactus.

I have black singlet Vader in wcw and Vader time I’m new gen/attitude era.
