This was one thing I didn't like about Jakks. It was confusing on top of everything else. No thanks.

I think they should drastically reduce the quantity of the DM figures they make. Seeing 1.5 million Ultimate Maniacs on a shelf is not good to see. Limit the quantity and more or less every person would happily pay the higher price to own a limited run figure. As it is, the DM price for a run of the mill elite sucks. Big time, even more so when I go in the same store I bought it for £22.99 later dramatically reducing the price, I know part of this is down to over ordering, but a store shouldn't be able to over order. If the production runs were smaller, the price per figure would be higher, so we'd have to pay even more for them. I'm not so sure. I'm not talking 1,000, I'm saying, I don't know how many are made but instead of 750,000 for example, probably more, maybe make like 500,000 instead, I doubt the cost of production would increase dramatically if at all. I just think something has to be done to revive the DM line, and stop stores ordering so much stock they have to sell them for less than half price

I think 50/50 color variations are cool That's what I'd like to see more often, running changes to the color schemes/trunk logos. Variant heads would be good too maybe. Might not happen though if they have to release "new" figures every so often.

Isn't this what Jakks did with the original 2002 Draft figures? They put limits on each figure where the main event guys were easier to come by compared to like Spike Dudley and Torrie Wilson.

I was lucky enough to grab Cactus Jack and Jerry Lawler HOF the second they hit shelves. Can't imagine they are shelf warming right now, I've yet to see them again and won't for a while. As far as the Chase elite thing , it isn't the worst idea but it's hard enough to find something regular with all the scalpers and figure swaps that take place.

No, Elites are hard enough to find in a lot of areas. Don't rock the boat. The chase idea with the belts and Slammys in basics is fine. They haven't shown to be TOO difficult to find overall for those that want them.

HOF Lawler is one per case and came out a week ago and you say it's "warming". Stop it. Just say you like chase figures and don't try to make a poor argument for it. My local Walmarts have full sets of elite 46 and 48 warming. Targets near me are loaded with the HOF figures. 2 to 3 lawlers, countless edge and king bookers. This is after I purchasd what I need and other collectors I know personally in the area. Not trying to use it for any kind of argument , but when I check stores 2 to 3 x a week and there's constantly stock of figures. I tend to think there going to warm. Especially figures like cactus and lawler, kids don't want them and only collectors and scalpers will pick them up. Not only that how many members on here are posting pictures, instagram or wherever you see elite 46 balor 2 to 4 of them just hanging on pegs. There's a reason for it,there being overstocked.

Chase figures, even if they're just a color change on the attire, would add costs that would eat into deco/accessories in the Elite line. With the belts and Slammys in the basic line, it's the same item produced each time. No new sculpting or design needed after the initial time they make the mold. I'm fine with things as is.

E48 only started showing up in stores within the past week or two. There's a huge difference between an item being in stock and warming. If the figures are still there in a few months, then you could say they are warming. Retail cycles are to make the product available to the average consumer, not somebody who is looking for new product 2-3 times every week.

Store employees would either save a limited wave like these for themselves or their scalper buddies, and we would only see these on ebay for $500+, no thanks!

I never see any of those figures you mentioned in-stock in my area, let alone warming, just Ringmaster Steve, Tito, and Big E. I think 50/50 color variations are cool, like the upcoming Berserker could come in brown or teal tunics, because when are they ever going to release that again? Ken Shamrock too, I could go for red, blue, and green versions, I think black(iyh dx) would probably need different deco though. I really like that idea.

I'd rather have more elite BAF or variant colors than limited production chase figures that would just get snatched up by scalpers and sold for 4x the price.
Sorry for the double post btw

Sorry for the double post btw They really do need to do Elite series build a figures, the way Hasbro does with its Marvel Legends line. Instead of giving us our upteenth Cena, Shamus, etc, which act as a glorified paywall, make the figures in the wave just as desirable as the baf.
