I thought this was going to be about including the Slammy Awards with some of the elites like they do with some of the basics. I could get behind that because I don't buy many basics so I don't have any Slammies yet and my Owen Hart fix-up would look a lot better with a Slammy or two.
Actual unique chase figures that are 1 in 500? Yeah, I can easily imagine the crazy auction sales with a starting bid of $100 and buy me now for $250.

No, not at all. I like the additions like chase belts or slammies or whatever they choose to insert as extras. I don't want to pay 3 times retail for a limited figure that a scalper just bought all of and Mattel wants to make money not limit their profits. I love the excitement a finding a figure for the first time on a peg but I feel like it would be frustrating as all hell looking for a limited figure. Remember Kevin Nash?

Chase figures are horrible. Nine times out of ten I could careless about who it is, but there's always the one that I would want. And I want to find my figures at mass retail not pay secondary market prices for one. My rule has always been if I didn't want it enough to preorder and I don't find it at mass retail then it just won't be in my collection. So no I don't want a figure that is limited if they want to take say 500 of a figure and add a chase belt or Slammy to it fine I will just grab a regular one without the special accessory. But I don't want to have to hope to be lucky enough to find a 1 of 500 neon pink Sting or something along those lines.

Around here, pretty much everything but Elite Daniel Bryan is a chase figure.
