A few weeks back I came on here and criticized the Beefcake photo from one of the toy conventions and said how I was disappointed in the attire (I was hoping for a white/pink tights version and not all zebra print). I like to think that while I give criticism where/when I feel it's appropriate, I'm not shy when it comes to praising Mattel for some of the finer jobs. With that said, I want to say that after seeing the official promo photos of Elite 49 Brutus Beefcake, while I still wish the attire was another version (a personal preference), I must say it looks much better. The white/pink cloth top is probably my favorite part (I wish the whole attire would've been of this style, ala WWE 2K17) as well as the skin tone. The skin color on Beefcake really makes it stand out; I feel like skin tone is a really underrated part of a figure. MattelDesignTeam please use this (or even a darker/more orange-y) skin tone color if and when you are able to produce more Hulk Hogans. Can't wait to receive this one - as well as Warlord and Berzerker.

I agree, I think they did a great job on this figure. Now I'm hoping for a classic "Dream Team" two-pack with a short hair Beefcake and Valentine complete with robe and tag titles.

I always liked this Brutus figure from the very first gray computer images we saw. I'm very glad to add it to my collection and I love the accessories. The attire could be more flashy colors sure but I still think it looks great overall in the pics and can't wait to have it in-hand.

It's a really cool figure. I do find it funny though that most of the parts seem to be from the Hogan mold, given that they are like best buds and rumors would have you believe that a significant amount of Beefcake's success was a result of that friendship.

It's just an observation I found funny. It's like "Beefcake riding on Hogan's coat tails again." Just gave me a chuckle.

I'm sure we are going to see another elite Beefcake at some point. Hopefully its in pink or Mega Maniacs Beefcake in yellow and red would be nice.
