I think it's great they sell them for others who can't hold of them. Just don't think it's any different from a bloke making a few quid on the side from doing the exact same thing Because some bloke doesnt contribute to the hobby. Ringside has 3 exclusive figures a year, an autograph signing/convention/Q&A(Ringsidefest), run this site, pay employees, pay rent and overhead. That bloke isnt providing for his family with his Mattel WWE figures. Hes just screwing the next guy out of them and charging someone else twice as much, because he has to to cover shipping and ebay fees... I support my local comic shop because they hold gaming events and conventions, etc. I support my local skateshop because they put on demonstrations and build parks. They support the community and not just go "Looky I broke even because I charged someone else twice as much." If a 'scalper' merely broke even they wouldn't do it.

People talk all the time about picking up extras as "trade bait" or selling figures to pay for the ones they keep. Scalping doesnt have to be making some crazy profit. It is merely taking something off the market so that others dont have the chance to buy it for the same price you did, and artificially inflating the value. When a regular collector sees two figures at the store, but you only want one, they then leave the other for someone else to find. A scalper sees two and goes "oh crap I better buy both. Someones gonna want those..." Im done discussing this. Were not going to see eye to eye and are going to have to agree to disagree.
