She did a better job than any of the meltzer wannabes that rate matches lmfao.
It didn't remind me of the average wrestling review. Those douche bags always sound robotic. Plus. Thank god she wasn't all about the rating system. Oh I give Taker 76 stars and Roman reigns 0 stars because meltzer is so cool.
She summed up the new day perfectly too. They were just there. Lol I enjoyed that.

Good read.
"Seth Rollins is a beautiful man."
All I needed to see to confirm this.

I always wonder what my first impression of WWE would be like if I started watching now. Having been a fan for 18 years I am too blinded to see it from this standpoint now, but it's always refreshing to read people's new opinions.

"What’s wild to me about WWE is that you just let other people beat you up to ensure a performance that will please fans. You’re playing a role, and sometimes you have to lose for the greater good of the show. It’s a strange variety of selflessness mixed in with incredible ego — you are still, after all, in the ring in front of millions of people. It’s strangely moving."
I've always thought about this .. good read

Also, those are the people who need the video packages before matches

"Brock wins. He looks like something that climbed out of the Earth's molten core and yelled "I'M HERE, MOTHER ERS!!!!" instead of being born." Quite possibly the most accurate description of Brock ever.

"I don’t think they get the credit they deserve from the general public because it’s wrestling. It can’t be real, some folks argue."
The single best quote from the whole article. Those who call wrestling "fake" or other things from the same perspective could really learn from this, as there's really way more to it than that.
I feel like if most people who are skeptics went in with an open mind and no bias toward pro wrestling would have the same or a similar reaction that she did.

Awesome blog post. Spot on, as well. My wife had a similar epiphany when she watched the UK Tournament.

Thanks for posting this. It's actually a good read. Interesting to read this considering it's coming from someone who doesn't know much about wrestling.

Someone who has never watched a bit of wrestling and seemingly admits she never ever will again, enjoyed Wrestlemania......That just shows how bad Wrestlemania actually was.

I wouldn't be surprised if WWE paid her to write this and put it on Yahoo news

I don't know if the article is 100 percent legit that she had never watched one minute of wrestling before in her life, BUT...
it was a pretty fun read and captured the childlike wonder we once had. Hell, a lot of us still have it. We still mark out for our favorites or big moves or guys/gals we like (anyone but you, Roman.)

"I like AJ, but I’m not sure I’m supposed to."
This article is the most (accurately) quotable wrestling review/blog I've ever read in my life.
