I have a display but would like to store away my extra elites in a safe environment so they can remain nice and mint. Is there a certain brand or type I should avoid? or it just doesn't matter... Any tips or advice would greatly be appreciated.

PVC is what you want to stay away from. Polyethylene or Polypropylene is wht you want for storage.

Even in plastic bags I would be more worried about limbs on loose figures becoming warped when stored together in bins.

Even in plastic bags I would be more worried about limbs on loose figures becoming Warlord when stored together in bins. I don't know PJ, loose limbs becoming Warlord sounds pretty cool to me.

All this time I've been labouring making warlord customs and now pj tells me all you have to do is store them in plastic bags?

I store my extra loose elites and basics in bubble wrap. I have been doing this since 2010-2011 and have never had a problem. And none turned into Warlord either

Even in plastic bags I would be more worried about limbs on loose figures becoming Warlord when stored together in bins. I used to hate pulling out my Jakks figures stored in totes , tons of smear marks on skin from boots or accessories touching. Most of my Mattel classics are in ziplocks and then stored in a closet.

I store mine in large tuperware containers. If they do warp it's nothing hot water can't fix

Thank you. I've purchased the brand "ziplok" and bagged them before I posted this thread and thought of all the possibilities that can go wrong. Do they sale the comic plastic at Walmart? I just might use that.

Use the kind of plastic that people use for trading card sleeves, it's archival quality, acid-free, PVC-free, etc. If you browse a site like BCW Supplies you'll find lots of different sizes. I think the ones that are 8 x 4 inches are about right for single WWE figures. Maybe a little wider to acommodate thicker figures.
That said, I just use ziplocks, IDGAF lol. I'm not going to live long enough to see the figures melt in the bags anyway.

What about keeping MOC figures stored inside the RSC defender cases, any danger keeping them stored that way?

He's right. Definitely worth the price, and really, they don't cost that much more. If you don't want your figures to yellow, get these. I did.

This topic frightened me so I order some polypropylene bags and got them in the post yesterday. I got 5x10" and that size works well with all of the Jakks and Mattel figures, but the I did have some trouble jamming Jakks Yokozuna and Viscera in there.
I would think 6x10" would suffice as well as that would provide a bit more room for the bigger fellas and maybe you could double up some tag teams like I liked to do.
Now thanks to this post, I got about 16 more hours of re-bagging and labeling figures to do.
