How long does it usually take to find the new elite series in store or online for retail price? Which stores are the best to keep an eye on? Thanks

Ringside usually get figures a month or two before retail. Actual stores are hit and miss. Walmarts have e48, but I havnt seen e47.5 in store and only e47 at kmart. E46 at Target and Walgreens.
Amazon or Ringside are your best bet until people start reporting findings. These boards will let you know when figures hit mass retail.

The one by house had 47.5 today when I went. It was strange seeing 4 Konnors and no Viktors.

Honestly, I stopped waiting for figures to pop-up in stores, except for store exclusives, and that's only because I have to. Too many times I decide to wait on my stores to get figures I want to buy. But since I only collect MOC Elites and DM figures, I want to be sure the packaging is in as perfect condition as possible. So now I just order from RSC in defender cases and pay for PPS on each figure.
Also, some figures you just may never see in stores. I know a lot of people saw the John Cena TRU Exclusive this past holiday, but I never did. Thankfully, I ordered it online and got it in great shape.

I've only ever shopped retail once and that was during the HOF series 1/2 era. While it was fun, I don't have that much free time anymore to be running around to different stores. Online about 2 months after it's been on RSC, is definitely the way to go.

When I was collecting Basics, when I went out of town, I'd hit up every Walmart, Target and Toys R Us to and from my destination and had very little success. I won't do that anymore. Plus, I just buy Elites and DM now.

RSC would be great but they up price them 8-10$ then shipping on top of the that can get pretty expensive. Waiting just seems like to much of a gamble, never really knowing when stores will receive them if the do at all. Amazon is nice, but they sell out fast so that is hit and miss. I wish RSC was priced like 3-5$ cheaper cause I wouldn't feel bad spending a couple more dollars to get it early. But as they are priced now its hard to pull the trigger.

[br You should just be patient. If theyre on Ringside long enough they are retail price or cheaper. They have to mark up the figures that they think will sell fastest otherwise its like Amazon where they would sell out and be stuck with shelfwarmers. Ringside is a sure way of getting a figure that you dont want to "gamble" on.

It's almost as if RSC is a niche business that cannot compete in price and scale with retail juggernauts and Amazon.

Usually if you wait, the price of a figure goes down drastically. I just bought Goldust for $23 bucks shipped. Ain't that bad of a price considering it's fast, it's $1-$2 above retail, it's cheaper than what I would have paid on Amazon after shipping, and the box is gonna come in mint shape.

My local Target just got a case of 48, so about a month or two, unless a major retailer(TRU, Target, Walmart) gets another shipper of fresh stuff soon.
