That family seems to die incredibly young. I'm guessing due mainly to obesity. RIP Always remember... Super Hero In Training samoan people generally don't have the metabolism for the over processed heavy fats and heavy sugars that we have in our diets today plus they no longer need to hunt their food so they are less active people. that results in obesity and complications from that.

Rosey was pretty cool for being such a big guy and doing such athletic moves.
I often wonder if he even liked wrestling though?? Once he got let go by the WWE, that was pretty much it for him I believe.
Still sad that he has passed though. R.I.P. Matt (Rosey)

I don't see this thread being open too long.
Rest In Power. Three Minute Warning were fun and the superhero stuff was decent. Sucks to see any wrestler die.

Used to love the 3MW gimmick, I didn't like how he was used during the Super Hero In Training run, but he absolutely nailed it.
Thoughts are will his family.

Really sad to hear this. I tried to meet him at WrestleCon but I had trouble finding him. I heard some people no showed and I eventually told myself that he must have been one of them. I was a big fan of 3-minute warning and thought that the team's run was too short. RIP

He had congestive heart failure a couple years ago, i wonder if that is what got him. I met him in 2005 or 2006 in Jonesboro Arkansas, he was super friendly and even signed my Rosey mask that came with his figure. I have a photo of it somewhere.
RIP matt you will be missed.

It's always sad when a person dies and leaves behind young children who won't be able to grasp that they've lost their father forever. Depending on the age of the child, it's unlikely they will retain many memories of him as they grow older. So, for that reason especially, my heart goes out to his closest family members. As for Rosey's in-ring career, I enjoyed his time with The Hurricane and 3-Minute Warning. He was far from being the best wrestler in his family, but he tried to make the most of any storyline of which he was involved. I'll always remember how happy I was to find him and the others from Ruthless Aggression Series 13 in stores back in mid-May 2005. His repaint came out looking great and it was a welcome addition to my then-burgeoning Jakks WWE figure collection. Rest in peace, Rosey.
