My 5 favourite Randy Orton matches are ( in order) Backlash 2004 vs Cactus Jack No Mercy 2007 vs last man standing vs HHH Wrestlemania 21 vs Undertaker Summerslam 2011 vs Christian Wrestlemania 31 vs Seth Rollins.
My favourite Randy Orton moment was 2004 Summerslam when he became youngest World Heavyweight Champion.

I respect your fanship for Orton. He's had some stellar moments in his career and will be remembered forever. But for me, Randy was great from like 2003-2007. The rest of his career has been hit and miss ever since he became a stoic, emotionless, charisma vacuum.
My favorite moment would probably be his Backlash 2004 match with Foley, then I would second his feud with Taker. Top notch stuff.

One of the greatest of all time. When motivated, he is amazing. Yes he's had some stale points, but so has everyone.

Orton is as naturally gifted as they come, 3rd generation bred for this business. The look, the tools, the genes, the opportunities, everything in a storied HOF career no doubt. Paint drying is far more exciting than a Randy Orton match post 2007.
He came out in jogging pants a few weeks back and looked so weird, for 14 years all he wore everywhere were T-shirts and underwear.

Other than his feud with Foley I've never been a huge Orton fan. I don't dislike him, just not a big fan. Also it's crazy that it's been 15 years. Time flies!

Orton was one of my favorites from the early days of Evolution and into 2007ish. I really enjoyed his work with Triple H leading into Wrestlemania 25, too, and the program with Christian in 2011.
Unfortunately, he's gotten to the point where I can't really stomach his character or nearly any of his matches anymore. There isn't a more complacent worker on the roster, and he tends to drag every opponent down. There is no doubt that he's crisp and natural. He looks, acts, and carries himself like a star. Unfortunately, he knows it, and he's been getting by on that fact for far too long.

Hes top 10 to ever do it. Idc what anyone says. I am sorry but in no way shape or forum is Randy Orton one of the top ten, twenty or even thirty wrestlers of all time.Sure he's in the top 50 which isn't anything to look down upon, and if he's one of your personal favorites great but taking a realistic look at things not even close to the top ten, just in terms of WWE stars he's behind Hogan,Austin,Rock,Cena,Bruno,Savage,Hart,Michaels,Taker,Edge,Backlund,Triple H,Andre,Piper,Warrior...ect Now with that all said from his RNN updates until his failed fact turn after his world title win at SummerSlam '04 he was one of my favorites and really shined in Evolution and had great feuds with Foley & Edge and really put the IC Title back on the map and made it mean something again,I would go as far as to say he was the last great IC champion and the last one to have a great reign with the title. But ever sense his feud with Christian ended in 2011 Orton has felt like he's on auto polite and always seemed to have very little in ring chemistry with most of the roster and all of his so called legendary feuds with the likes of Triple H,Cena,Batista and even Taker haven't lived up to the hype when bell time came.Yes he might have one really good or great match with them but overall the rest of their match ups where let downs. To me he's really only had constant good to great matches with the likes of Foley,Edge,Christian and Punk and then a few other matches here and their.

All this means to me is John Cena's 15 year anniversary should be soon.

From his debut in 2002 until ending the "Legend Killer" gimmick in 2007, he was great. He had all the charisma in the world and played the best cocky-b******. His ring work was top stuff as well. Then he became "The Viper" and has been up and down ever since. Seriously, since 2008, his only memorable feuds for me was with Christian and D-Bryan (and D-Bryan was more so because of the WWEs refusal to push him than anything else). Why take one of the most charismatic guys and turn him into a friggin robot?
He's never had a memorable match with Cena or Edge, and he's been said to have purposely had lackluster matches over the past few years with Roman due to jealously (we all hate Roman but don't sabatoge matches). His most recent feud with Bray produced one of the worst matches at this years WM.
Overall I enjoyed his early years but just haven't gotten behind him for the past 9 years.

Top 25 Maybe Top 10? Not so much. top 25 bro? Top 15 AT LEAST. No one is more effortless and crisp in the ring than Orton. Effortless isn't always a good thing. Orton has had a great career and made himself a ton of money, but I agree he has been stagnant for a long time. Whether that's on him or their creative team, who knows. Undisputed Hall of Famer who seems content giving just enough these days to stay paid and healthy. Can't blame him one bit.

How many awesome matches has he put on collectively in the past decade? How many good or compelling promos has he cut? Having ability is one thing, but what you do with it is another thing. He's gotten comfortable and complacent where he's at. I'm not sure why, maybe it's out of fear of getting injured or something. But is he in the same league of guys like Bret Hart, HBK, Ric Flair, etc? Helll nooo

One of the smoothest in ring workers I've ever seen. He's an all time great.

I've always been a big fan of Orton's. People have their negative views about him, but outside of a few stale moments (which everyone has) he's been great to watch.
