From his debut in 2002 until ending the "Legend Killer" gimmick in 2007, he was great. He had all the charisma in the world and played the best cocky-b******. His ring work was top stuff as well. Then he became "The Viper" and has been up and down ever since. Seriously, since 2008, his only memorable feuds for me was with Christian and D-Bryan (and D-Bryan was more so because of the WWEs refusal to push him than anything else). Why take one of the most charismatic guys and turn him into a friggin robot? He's never had a memorable match with Cena or Edge, and he's been said to have purposely had lackluster matches over the past few years with Roman due to jealously (we all hate Roman but don't sabatoge matches). His most recent feud with Bray produced one of the worst matches at this years WM. Overall I enjoyed his early years but just haven't gotten behind him for the past 9 years. 100% agree, also ever since he got his full arm tattoo's things just started to go downhill for his character. I was a huge fan of his in 04-05, just wish he didn't spend almost a year feuding with the Undertaker in 2005.

When it comes to wrestling ability:
Orton > Cena

Nothing will ever beat Evolution/Legend Killer Orton IMO. The story WWE put on Instagram of his RKO's were pretty cool to watch.

To quote Sonny Forelli in GTA Vice City - 15 years, seems like only yesterday! It really does feel like just yesterday that he was the new guy on the roster.
Seriously, it's crazy to think it's been that long. When Undertaker had his 'Decade Of Destruction' it felt like such a big deal. But I was 9 at the time, so that was literally an entire lifetime for me at the time. Time sure does fly and years feel shorter when you're older because they become smaller in comparison to how long you've been alive.
What a career he's had. One of my all time faourites and one of the best ever. He definitely lived up to his potential and has unquestionably superseded his father and grandfather before him.

I was a fan, his legend killer stuff, in particular, was awesome, but the last five (and I am being kind here) years of Randy Orton have been ing terrible. He does the bare minimum possible in the ring and is one of the most boring guys on the roster. No one ever comes out of a feud with Randy Orton looking better than when they went in and that is because the matches most of the time just absolutely suck.

His partnership with Bray was fun. It was new. Once he turned on Bray, he was back to the same old Randy. At this point, we've seen all there is to see from a face Orton.
I think when Randy is in there with a smaller faster guy, he can have great matches. Especially someone who he can catch in an RKO out of nowhere. But when he's in there with a slower more methodic wrestler, like Bray, he flounders... hard.

Like many others I was fine with Randy early on until the Legend Killer died and The Viper as born. Randy is often a chore to watch when he isn't very motivated, which is extremely rare. The WYatt stuff was refreshing, and if you asked me they pulled the trigger on a split way too early. Orton with Bray was the most interesting Orton had been in years.
To be honest, Orton may be the worst multiple time champion of all-time. Can you think of anyone that has had close to as many title reigns as he has had that has been less interesting? I can't.

Randy Orton is like the wrestling version of Alex Rodriguez in baseball. A-Rod ended his career with almost 700 home runs, but very few of them were actually clutch, game winning home runs that helped the team win. A-Rod was a stat complier who hit his home runs when the team was so far ahead that it didn't matter, or too far behind for it to matter, and the majority of the time when A-Rod came up with the game on the line, he failed.
This is how I feel about Randy Orton. Due to the fact that he's just been around for so damn long, he's got an impressive resume, but Randy Orton fails in the clutch for me. And by that I mean that it seems like in BIG MATCHES, Randy Orton doesn't deliver. Randy Orton seems to also not have chemistry with other top Superstars. His matches with John Cena, Triple H, and AJ Styles have all fallen far short of expectations.
Randy Orton just isn't a big match player for me. His probably got the worst performances of anybody to have as many Wrestlemania matches as he does....he just always seems to come up with a dud. Obviously it takes two to tango, but like the saying goes, the true greats should have the ability to go out there with anybody and make it work. Shawn Michaels got good matches out of guys that nobody thought could work (Sid, Nash).
And on top of not coming up with good performances in big match situations, I've always found Randy Orton to be a lackluster actor. He lacks charisma. His promos aren't engaging, and he just fails to command an audience, in my opinion.
Basically, I think he's overated, but because of the amount of time he's been in WWE, his resume says he's a Hall of Famer.

I don't think there's jealousy. That's what the dirt sheets reported. He was apparently upset that he was putting over Roman in 2014 and was said to have purposely slowed down their matches to a lackluster halt. It apparently got him heat in the locker room. Talent wise Orton>>>>>>>>>>>>>Reigns

The first 5-6 years of his career were great but the last 5 years or so gave been absolutely awful. He is just been mailing it in every week and giving 50% effort towards everything.

Good job my man, I do not think there is a better description of Randy Orton anywhere online. I always say that any wrestler who enters a feud with Randy Orton never comes out looking better on the other side, even if they go over. I can think of far more boring as hell Randy Orton matches than I can exciting ones.

Hes top 10 to ever do it. Idc what anyone says. A top ten of all time would surely be full by the time you've thought about: Characters: Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, The Rock, Bret Hart, Sting, Bruno Samartino. In Ring: Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guererro, Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Mysterio On the Mic: Roddy Piper, CM Punk, The Rock, Dusty Rhodes, Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, Mick Foley (during the 90s), Ted DiBiase, Steve Austin, Jake Roberts In what, exactly, is he supposed to have excelled that warrants a top ten spot?

The idea of Randy Orton has been better than the actual Randy Orton..
He leaves the main event every now and again and you don't even realize it.. THEN he comes back to the main event and you're like "ah yeah, this is awesome finally I love Randy Orton".. Until you're reminded WHY you never realized he was missing from the main event.
He doesn't live up to the hype anymore, he's extremely boring..
I honestly feel he's just collecting his checks at this point in his career.

I don't think I asked for your illogical opinion pal, and if you actually watched wrestling back then Randy Orton facing Undertaker didn't really do anything for him, because he lost against him at Armageddon and that ended the feud. He didn't get a title shot against Batista in 05 when he should have had a feud with him.
