There's so many!
Christmas of 95 was pretty fantastic. Got the OSFTM WCW ring, Hulk Hogan, and Macho Man. Also got the Bend-Em's Bret Hart, Doink, Razor Ramon, Lex Luger and Diesel(my favorite wrestler at the time). Probably the best Christmas ever. There weren't alot of choices wrestling figure-wise at the time(I never really saw Hasbro's at retail then, and this was right before Jakks and Toybiz) so was happy with any wrestling figures(as crappy as they were compared to today's standards).
And I literally freaked out and was overjoyed the first time I saw Mattel's at retail, especially after all the crap Jakks gave us. I bought Shawn Michaels and Batista from I guess what's the first basic series, and never looked back.

My favourite moment has to be Christmas '93. I got all of the yellow cards (Series 6) and a few others, I couldn't believe it as I hadn't even seen some of them advertised by this time. Also, earlier memories of walking into my local store and seeing tag teams for the first time! Such great memories.
In more recent times, picking up Dusty Rhodes and the Series 11 figures. Me and my friends had only heard rumours of the final series being released but never actually saw them. Dusty, on the other hand, was only ever a picture on the back of a few carded figures we'd all got earlier in the line.
Fantastic thread.

Cool memories Taylor, weird that I never had any clue Dusty was rare until years after the line ended. We had tons of him around my area. My friends weren't missing him neither. And I remember actually seeing him along with most of Series 2 in a big bargain bin of Hasbros at a CVS.

Me and my friends actually thought he didn't exist after a while as no one had ever seen him and we'd always talk about how one day one of us would find him at a car boot sale and coming running back to show everyone! If only the internet was like it is now, we could have seen that he was in fact real! Even now, reading your post saying how there was tons of him around your area makes me smile thinking back to those days and how we would have been if we'd know that. Thanks for the memories!

That was the Nasty Boys, Koko, Warrior 3, Mr. Perfect, Bret, and Undertaker for me as far as the early series go. So infuriating getting my parents/grandmother to let me stop by a store or two only to come up empty-handed. I just thought of when I got my first Bret & Taker - I was hanging out w/some friends at the big mall in our area, it must have been 1996 or 1997, and I came across a new video game/collectibles store. At the time it wasn't at all cool to collect action figures, but that never bothered me even if I was with a bunch of friends. Anyway I got 'em for $10 each (loose/mint). Also found a Koko from a local kid that I got for $20. He didn't really want to sell but I'd never seen one in person before and it wasn't so easy at the time to just grab one on ebay or online. Even if I had, I believe the going rate was around that much anyway w/Frankie included.

I guess the rarity of some of these have carried on until this day with a few of the ones we've mentioned - Dusty, Warrior 3, Mr. Perfect and Koko also go for high prices nowadays. Glad you found your figures in the end!

My favourite memory was my 13th birthday, had hasbro since a 5 year old and never anything after that until i walked in to ricemans in Canterbury (uk) and see jakks bone crunching series for the first ever time. Was blown away and spent all my bday money in one hit. Walked out with stonecold rock undertaker kane triple h and xpac, the figures have been following on ever since

The one that comes to mind is finding the original Rulers of the Ring set while on a road trip from Illinois to Colorado. My mom took me to TRU almost daily looking for that set, but all I ever found was an Al Snow. We stopped at a mall to stretch our legs and grab some lunch, and they had a KB Toys there. That's when I finally found Tazz and the Dudley's. This was, hands down, the toughest set I had ever found.

When Mattel announced they were making a GAB Sting. That was a figure I wanted made since 1990. I had made many customs of it over the years. But always dreamed of an authentic one.
Other than that it was walking into a TRU down by the Jersey shore on two separate occasions and finding the large Galoob Sting figure and the 14" Rowdy Roddy Piper.
