Crazy, but WWE understands how to work crowds and how to book, despite what the experts here think.

They're more experts on it than any of us.

Who is Cien? Is he another Roman type guy who gets booed out of buildings? Andrade "Cien" Almas. He debuted last year at TakeOver: The End and I guess he was meant to be this huge star, Lucha Libre background, worked in New Japan he's amazing! But they had him beat Dillenger in his debut, he fizzled out incredibly quick, lost to Roode at TakeOver: Brooklyn II, then turned on Cedric during the Dusty Classic and now is a guy who loses big matches but doesn't care because he goes out to clubs and parties and yeah. I think he's booed because of his debut and it's never really been explained what the he's supposed to be. He calls himself El Ídolo/The Idol but The Idol to who? He's also Cien meaning he's 100? Almas is essentially doing a version his Los Ingobernables gimmick now. He's tranquillo. Honestly, I've been loving him since his turn.

I like Cien, he's a douchey in a good way. But, based on WWE making Jinder call Americans racist and whatever, in a time when society crucifies you if you even look at a black or brown guy funny, I'd say no, they don't understand the different types of heat. Why would I want to tune in every week just to feel uncomfortable and feel bad about myself, for something I don't even condone? Disgusting. And then you have Owens who just talks crap non-stop, totally unlikable. Definitely seeing more channel-changing heat than entertaining heat.

Similar to Naito I think he needs a group for the personality to really take off. Only thing is there isn't anyone in NXT that I can think of who would work well in a LIJ like group.

Given that everyone in the business tried to tell us that Roman 'worked us' the night after Mania, I would say no.
All he did was stand there and look smug. The fans were booing the way he has been booked previously, as well as the questionable decision to have him retire the Undertaker.

the rock's face holding up roman reign's arm at royal rumble a few years ago tells you all you need to know - they are completely out to lunch on how to properly motivate a crowd in a specific direction. which is sad.
their utterly horrendous misbooking of daniel bryan is another example.

WWE has morphed into a propaganda machine, trying to tell us who to like instead of us organically deciding for ourselves. Before the start of every "Raw after Mania" they have started issuing disclaimers to the viewing audience that basically says "this is not normal".
