I just got the WCW ring mats and skirts.
What do you guys use as turnbuckles. Does anyone try to make it look like the real thing? Or do you just use the black WCT pads with no logo?

They sell different colored pads on Amazon. I was going to get yellow ones back around Christmas but never did order them. They are still in my wish list .

Are you talking about like, the rubber-ish type pads that come with the ASR, or... the "other" pads from the "other" ring? Anyways, mrsask has the PERFECT turnbuckle pads you're looking for. I'm not sure where he gets them from, but he's the guy to ask on this, for sure.

I bought the black ones from rsc since there aren't any red rubber ones. I just plan to repaint them and seal them. I even asked a few members about sealing it so the paint doesn't break. I think it's strange that rs hasn't created some sort of turnbuckle and ringposts in multiple colors etc as single packs. Those things would sell like hot cakes.

I'd be interested in a way to make something for this. Just for the sake of some photos, since I can't get them shipped to Australia.

I've got the NWA ringskirt and matt and putting it on the ASR. I'm just going to paint the black turnbuckles yellow with model masters paint and seal them. I might even put the NWA logo decals on them as well like they had in the early 80s.

I'm even a little more old school, wanting white and red turnbuckles the old NWA rings used to have in the mid-late 80s/early 90s. I wish RSC would make different coloured rubber turnbuckles.

I still need to change my ropes to blue, black and red and get yellow and blue turnbuckles to finish off my WCW GAB '90 ring.

I would imagine you could probably plastidip the turnbuckles. Its flexible material and shouldnt chip.
