Hey everyone, i'm planning on making a display using Mattel figures (preferably ELITES) of wrestlers in 2006/2007 attires from when i started watching wrestling. Some i already have and just need to fix up a bit, however i'm having a bit of trouble finding a good Edge headscan to represent that time, i'm thinking of using his recent HOF figure (for WM23) or basic in blue attire (Unforgiven 06) for the body and have been interested in using an old Jakks Edge Deluxe 6 headscan although still unsure whether that'd work or not.
So i was just curious to see everyone's opinions on which Edge head would best work for an 06/07 look as well as any other suggestions in terms of an attire to use.
So far i'm planning on using E1 Taker, E4 Kane with basic head, Walgreen's HBK (and HHH when released), Flashback E Orton, E Boogeyman, E Umaga, SS Heritage Big Show, E2 Batista (with WM Heritage head if i can get it), ECW Punk, E RVD, DM Cena etc... (If anyone has any other suggestions/recommendations would be great)
Thanks!

Edge HOF is based on WM24. You can add MVP Elite, Rey Mysterio EG...

You got to have King Booker in there, e14 or the recent HOF version.

There's not a whole lot. Especially when you want elites only

You got to have King Booker in there, e14 or the recent HOF version. Planning on that and swapping the head with BAF Booker.

For purely elites, looking at my collection, you can use:
Elite 23 JBL Walgreens HBK Elite 48 Boogeyman RSE Edge Elite 4 Kane Elite 14 or HOF King Booker Elite 40 Umaga Elite 24 Trish

Elite 2 Triple h is also a mid to late 2007 based attire.

So far I have:
E2 Triple H (Though a proper RA version like the Mean Gene BAF Basic would be better) E4 Kane HoF King Booker E48 Boogeyman E49 Randy Orton Walgreens DX HBK E40 Umaga DM John Cena 1st release (2005 I know but he carried on into 2006)
I almost bought a custom Big Show based on the Survivor Series heritage figure but I passed on it. Technically the first Batista elite can pass for the time, though the SS Basic is more era accurate. Same for the DM Flair (WM 24) which could work for an RA Flair.

Yeah although looking at my basic 1 Big Show, i remembered i never really liked his size in old basic figures, i think he looks a bit small compared to that time so i think an old deluxe would fit well with Kane as the Tag champs

Mattel has really neglected that era right before they took over WWE in 2010. The figures they made in 2010 were really from 2008/09 attires, but 2004-2008 gets very minimal love from Mattel. They're too hung up on their Tyhpoons and Tugboats of the world.

This era wasn't that great and they should focus on more WCW mid to late 90's, ECW, and Attitude Era figures at this point along with some more mid to late 80's WWF guys.
