Out of all of the wrestlers in the world:
Who do you think has had more success in the WWE than in the Indys?
Who do you think has had more success in the Indys than in the WWE?
Who do you think could have more success in the Indys than in the WWE?

1. Dean Ambrose comes to mind as a guy who was a moderate star on the Independents but is a legit star in WWE. He had some buzz, mostly from his CZW work and his promos, but he was a fraction of the Independent star that Rollins was when they went to FCW.
2. Probably Kassius Ohno. Simply because I think, at present, more people know Chris Hero than Ohno. Although, I'd probably argue any success in WWE is bigger than any independent success you can attain.
3. I don't know about more success, but I think Dolph Ziggler needs to leave and go do a Cody Rhodes run through someplace like ROH. The guy is just collecting a paycheck and visibly looks like he hates his job right now.
4. Dalton Castle. I think it's obvious ROH really doesn't fit exactly what he does but WWE does. So I think the ceiling is really high for him with WWE. Mike Bennett is another guy that has had marginal success in ROH and TNA, but I think what he does is perfect for WWE TV. Two guys I would love to see on the roster.

Young Bucks are a real obvious one. in rockstars on the indies but I think we all know the most likely story if they go to WWE.

I feel to date, Punk had more success in WWE than the indy's, however, whatever company he returned to if he decided to, would blow up huge. With that said, I feel Hero has the most promise. But i know he would prosper best in the indys. He doesn't cone off as a WWE guy, but I said the same for Cesaro and Owens, but both proved me wrong.
AJ Styles has probably prospered best from WWE.
I feel Dolph Ziggler would benefit best fron the i dies. Maybe a Japan tour or 2 would build his fan base more, sonce fans outside of WWE typically care more about wrestling ability that character appeal.
I really want Young Bucks and Cole in WWE. I feel many people deserve to see them. Same goes for Cage, Scrull, and Will Opsrey.

Weren't Bennett & Maria signed a little while ago, to appear on the SmackDown brand? Yeah, it was rumored they would be going right to Smackdown. We obviously haven't seen anything yet though. I'm personally hoping that rumor ends up being reality but I'll believe it when I see it.

Gallows & Anderson were much better in Japan.
Young Bucks need to stay away.

AJ is a little different. I wouldn't consider TNA or New Japan to be Indy. He definitely wrestled Independant shows, but was a main event level star in two big companies.
Anderson and Gallows I think suffer from WWE's lackluster tag team booking. They just made them Revival-Lite rather than putting in any effort into making them different or *gasp* allowing them creative room to differentiate themselves.
I'm curious how the Bucks would do. They're a bigger tag team than anyone on the WWE roster, save for the New Day and maybe Hardys (at the moment). If WWE just let them do their thing, they'd be huge money makers.

Does TNA / Impact Wrestling count as an Indy promotion independent of the WWE Universe??

Out of all of the wrestlers in the world: Who do you think has had more success in the WWE than in the Indys? Who do you think has had more success in the Indys than in the WWE? Who do you think could have more success in the Indys than in the WWE? Who do you think could have more success in the WWE than in the Indys? I think like 90% of guys have more success in WWE than anywhere else, once you've even just touched WWE, especially nowadays with televised developmental, you've suddenly got way more star power. I would say Asuka and Shinsuke, have gone from the types of stars that are very popular in their home countries and to hardcore wrestling fans to being considered the best in the biggest wrestling company in the world. That is a pretty huge skyrocket. Shinsuke is the face of this month's PPV. I think Jeff Jarrett went from being a moderately big star to the HHH of the second most well known wrestling company for years. If we are considering TNA an Indy, that is. Hmm...I think the Indys are a great place for big guy personalities in smaller stature bodies, maybe like The Ascension? Those guys were super heroes in NXT and Stardust bumbling goons on the main roster. I read an interview with Low-Ki this week saying that with the current structure of WWE and NXT he'd have a very different run there now and I have to agree, the guys they push now like AJ, Joe and Balor...he can put on an amazing show with them. He came in still at a pretty big man dominated company but the recent shift and loss of a lot of their older, larger stars and emergence of hard-kicking high flyers, would give him a lot of potential.

This, I never watch ROH but out of boredom I watched the War of the World show, I seemed to know someone from each match weather it be former WWE or TNA talent or The Briscoe's, Dalton Castle did stand out as someone who'll end up in NXT at some point though
