This show proves why having a guy BOOKING the matches, the card, and the stories is miles better than the "lets pay a team of writers to convolute it all" approach found elsewhere. There was more emotion to that Ciampa turn than i can think of on any of the bigger shows,WWE or not, for a heel turn in a very long time. The veiled foreshadowing during the match, the emotion of being so close to championship victory, the little nuances such as holding the turn until right before the shows sign off,and NOT doing it in the center of the ring....all the way down to the crowds well timed DIY chants spinning into the less than PG ones we got a few moments later.....brilliant. Just brilliant.

Now it makes sense as to why AOP kept the gold.
But is there any other real serious tag teams to challenge AOP now?? Maybe Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole??
I still think that Vince is gonna have the AOP up on the main roster soon than later. He clearly has a boner for those two big men.

I absolutely loved the UK Title match. My network froze and I couldn't get it working for about 5 minutes in the middle of the match. Saw the full match, but think I would've loved it more than I already do if I saw the whole thing uninterrupted.

What a show.
I liked the Strong v. Young match. The suplex/backstabber was sweet. Strong needs to show off some personality though, he comes off very stiff
Bate v. Dunne, I'll be totally honest, I didn't watch the UK tourney but heard great things. These two giys pit on a hell of a match that had me so drawn into the action, I felt like a kid again. Even my gf who doesn't care for wrestling got sucked in and thought it was sweet.
The NXT Title was good but who is gonna beat Roode for the title now?
What a tag title main event. Curious to see who steps up to the AOP now. But damn surprised Gargano didn't kill himself on that ladder dive. The betrayal of Gargano was awesome. I didn't see it coming and it felt real. The frustration of not being able to win felt real.
I love NXT and this is how main roster needs to be run: PERSONAL AND EMOTIONAL storylines, logical booking, great matches

Can't believe it took me so long to click with this one.
The theme song for this show? JUDAS. Perfect.

Loved the reaction for Jim Ross, it put a smile on my face and he deserves to call more shows.

Literally thought to myself ...what the is gonna happen now when AOP won. I then thought, how awesome would it be if Future Shock debuted right now and were the next challengers for the tag belts. I thought I was the only one.

I attended NXT TakeOver: Chicago, and it was one of the best damn shows I've ever been to.

The U.K. Championship match was the match of the night for sure, and that "sweep" chant had me rolling. I loved the encore after the "one more sweep" chant, too. 😂

I have no idea who that is?! I don't watch the weekly NXT shows, just the Takeover ones. So there are probably a lot of new talent in NXT that I have no clue as to who they are.

What a great show. Ciampa ripped my heart out. They've done such a great job with those two, and letting them have that big show closing angle is really cool.
I thought all the right people won, more or less. As much as I wanted DIY to get a second run, it certainly makes sense now. I'm a little worried about their viability as singles guys should they be brought up, but they should both do well in NXT.
This was a make or break night for Hideo and I thought he showed up pretty big. I still think it might be too late for him, but he and Roode had a really good match.

I was very satisfied with last nights show. NXT has been better than Raw and SmackDown recently.
