Do u guys still think Mattel and WWE are still not going to produce any wrestlers involved in the lawsuit? If so in the future there's not many flashbacks left to make.

Some of the stuff we have heard and been said never made any sense to me. I mean rumor was Sin Cara replaced Koko B Ware in E42 supposedly due to the law suit, MDT actually said we only got Kamala in "E44.5" cause he was already on the boat, and then we get Warlord and Berserker in E50 and E51.

We're not missing out on too many people due to the lawsuit. From the plaintiffs listed the people we dont have that we would want and that Mattel would likely make:
Koko B Ware Ahmed Johnson Henry Godwin Barbarian (or Powers of Pain) Slick One Man Gang Jim Brunzell (only as Killer Bees) Sabu Adam Bomb (or Kronik)
Long shots that would get made: Ken Patera Jindrak Heidenreich Butch Reed Jazz Ron Bass Johnny the Bull Rodney Mack Jim Powers Axl Rotten Shane Douglas Muhammad Hassan

Some of the people involved in this lawsuit are just hilarious. Like Shane Douglas really suffered irreparable brain damage during his less than 5 months with the WWF as Dean Douglas? Like, for serious?

The thing I don't get about this lawsuit is that atleast 1/3 of them still either wrestle in the indies, mexico, or in chavo's case lucha underground. It's hard to say that wwe is responsible for not telling you that these concussions can shorten your life or do permanent damage when now you know and continue to wrestle. It will be hard to prove that wwe is responsible for your condition when they have no control over your current matches other places. Also, several of the people listed had brief careers in wwe or only a few appearances and had their matches or career in other territories. I think wwe gets these lawsuits because they are the only company making substantial money. The people who continue to wrestle and the people who never really had a career in wwe should get no money or benefits unless they can prove that they had been diagnosed with concussions during their wwe matches.
As far as figures go, yeah I want every new figure mattel produces, but if these guys just want an easy payday then they should do wrestling conventions or meet and greets at indy events. I don't have to have figures of everyone who ever stepped in the ring, but they are seriously hurting their chances for a future legends/merchandise deal by suing in cases that are known to be tossed by the courts for lack of merit.

Like, for serious? This always baffled me too. Like when Vince purchased WCW or ECW I am sure he did not acquire their liabilities with them. No way would he sign a deal making him liable for injuries or any other damages occurred under the prior ownership. Like if Eric Bischoff was sexually harassing talent, would Disco Inferno sue Vince? You'd think he'd sue Eric and Turner. Why isn't Turner ever listed as a defendant in these types of lawsuits? I don't think he can use the defense of "I no longer own the company so I am no longer liable." His pockets are a lot deeper than Vince's. You'd think if they're taking a shot at Vince, might as well go after Ted too.

I think it might have to do with vince not giving his guys days off and forcing them to work steady around the calendar . Thats all i could think of, i would be bitter with a boss like vince myself

Like, for serious? Agreed 100% and on top of lack of time with the company my argument is, how many bumps did certain guys even take in the 80s to warrant this? I don't remember Jim Brunzell taking many chair shots, piledrivers or powerbombs.

Fighter HayabusaWCW doesnt exist. Vince bought it and wound up the company. WCW would have been a standalone company, owned by another standalone company. No company left to sue.

Doesnt have a be a ddt, can be any move slightly mistimed. I saw Matt take a nasty one one Sunday with that razors edge. Head bounced off the 'mat'. No pun intended... Medical progress means we now know that hitting your head again, while you have a concussion can do serious damage. If there is a head injury on football (soccer). They are so cautious about letting a player carry on.

Koko filed a lawsuit before he joined the concussion suit, and that first lawsuit is why his figure was pulled. It's not unheard of for a licensors to let a toy company produce a figure if they have already invested time/money in the product so long as there is no legal issue. For example the NFL and the NFLPA allowed a figure of Peyton Manning to be released well after his retirement, meaning he was no longer a part of the NFLPA, because design work had already started months before Manning announced his retirement. I'd imagine these sort of things are discussed on a case by case basis.

The lawsuit doesn't question what type of injury or harm that they suffered, it's the fact that it went ignored either knowingly or unknowingly. So many of these guys (yes, even the current roster) preform hurt. Unless they absolutely feel like something's not right, wrestlers have to grin and bear it. The current roster doesn't even have the option to pop pills, or do coke to get through their days,so they have it bad too. I guess the only flaw I see with this lawsuit is the fact that we know so much more about concussions now than we did then and it shouldn't be WWE's fault.

The settlement will involve a legends contract deals which in turn will mean we will end up getting action figures of ALLLLL the wrestlers and personalities involved!
