I think Joe and Lesnar would have an amazing match if they were allowed to. But all that's going to happen is Joe is going to get beat in less than 5 minutes to make him look unbeatable. Nobody is going to put a dent in Brock until he finally drops that belt to Reigns. We are in for 10 more months of boring short Brock matches.
It's a shame, because he's actually capable of putting on good matches (Extreme Rules 2012). But all they give us is Suplex City.

If you want someone to beat Brock dominantly is shouldn't be Somoa Joe he's nearing 40 years old it should be a younger guy who will be wrestling in the WWE for years. Goldberg? That shouldn't have happened either. Yes, the first match could have been booked as it was where Brock took Goldberg lightly and didn't really train for him then lose like he did. The second match should have been them going back and fourth for 10 minutes, before Brock started wiping the floor with Goldberg but ultimately losing by getting DQ'ed for not breaking at the refs 5 count. Then the last match could have played out as it did. But that fantasy feud didn't help the company at all for the long term. Brock and Joe should have some physical battles for about 15+ minutes, before Brock takes control and dominates the final 5 minutes. Then for Brock's next opponent have Strowman manhandle and easily beat Brock and become the WWE's new Beast. Or have Brock face Roman where they main event the two PPV's prior to WrestleMania where Brock wins both PPV's in 20+ brawls. Then have Roman win the third at WrestleMania.

It really should be an all-out slobberknocker ending after around 25 minutes. Not a ton of finisher kickouts, just one finisher - Lesnar gets Joe up for the F5, Joe slips out behind and into the choke, and Lesnar passing out.
If they are just feeding Joe to Lesnar, they shouldn't even do the match.

They should beat the hell out of each other and then have Lesnar pass out, but not tap.

I think anyone who is expecting joe to win or for it be be a hard fought match lasting more than 5-10 min is going to be disappointed. I can see go getting the upper hand for a few min but its going to be brock going over pretty much like he did over orton.

I love the idea of Joe winning in an absolute war or a match. Or losing in the same scenario but looking great. But I really don't want to see a "suplex a thon" from Lesnar that would be such a waste.....just ridiculous.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Lesnar came out and just had a normal ing wrestling match with someone? That'd be cool. Amirite?! One can only dream. I really miss his 2002-2004 wrestling style. All this suplexes and strikes crap became sucha bore really fast 😴 I love Joe but I'm not sure that even he could get a good match out of Brock now.

Suplex City SummerSlam 2014 was more popular on Wfigs than Extreme Rules 2012. True. He blasted Cena and everyone loved it. He had that stellar triple threat and smashed Reigns at Mania and everyone ate it up. Had two good matches with Taker. Once he smashed Ambrose, though... Different internet story. But of course you'll always have somebody drop "he's always bored me." line

RAW ratings are in the absolute can, and there's a new all-time low every week. Even with Lesnar showing up, people still didn't tune in this week. I'm wondering if they're scrambling and maybe have Joe get a shock win over Lesnar to boost ratings for the RAW after Great Balls of Fire.

Suplex City SummerSlam 2014 was more popular on Wfigs than Extreme Rules 2012. I liked the SummerSlam 2014 match too....because I think if you look at REAL sports, like boxing, UFC, etc...sometimes you have epic battles, and sometimes you get matches that end in under a minute. The odds of John Cena fighting for over a decade and never having a bad day where he gets in the ring and has nothing is unrealistic. But in WWE, I almost feel cheated when it happens too often, because they can CHOOSE to make the matches longer or shorter. Can't do anything in real life if Ronda Rousey or Connor McGregor knock some schmuck out in 30 seconds. It happens. I went to the Yankee game this weekend and they were up 9-0 in the 2nd inning and the final score was 16-3. But WWE can CHOOSE to give us a great Lesnar/Joe match...or not. It's up to them. And if they don't, I know it's going to piss a lot of people off who want to see good matches, instead of these short blow outs to make Lesnar look strong just so Reigns can eventually slay him.

Lesnar should destroy him just as bad as he would in real life. Joe has never been a believable badass imo. I've never seen the hype in him.

how many times are we going to go through this stuff before a Lesnar title match?
the Goldberg thing at Survivor Series was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. clearly. and all that was was the vehicle to get the belt to Lesnar without Lesnar having to be the one to "destroy" Owens.
other than that, we're gonna see a carbon copy of every Lesnar match until they are done with him. the matches are just gonna be Lesnar dominating, and the other guy maybe getting a few tease spots in. but Lesnar wins.
Until The Big Dog is ready to take over his yard and win his title to be held for the next 3 years at least. That's the plan for Vince. That's what Vince wants, thats what he thinks is going to bring back the audience.

also, laugh at the fact that people think Lesnar wants to wrestle for 25-30 minutes....lol. dude is getting paid millions of dollars, to stand in the ring with Heyman....maybe get in a little brawl here and there, show up a few times a year and put in his hour of wrestling for the year. gotta split that hour between about 5 matches though....and a bunch of it will be eaten up when they actually give Lesnar a long match vs Reigns because thats what the people want.

I'm wondering if they're scrambling and maybe have Joe get a shock win over Lesnar to boost ratings for the RAW after Great Balls of Fire. Nah. They've stopped adjusting booking to try to combat ratings. They just cook up some new excuse to wave it off every time they hit a new low, then PR machine Brian James takes to Twitter to talk about how "ratings are antiquated! Look at our social media followers!" Even if they did make the switch, the rating would likely pop once and then return to status quo, and I don't think Vince is going to blow up his master plan just for a single day of intrigue.

If they really wanna build up Joe then have em beat the crap out of each other for 20+ minutes with Joe choking him out to win the belt.
