We all know a full fledged reunion is extremely unlikely.
But for argument sake, would that be the only thing that would save Roman from being booed in every building he goes in?

No. You'd just have fans cheering the other two and booing him during the matches at this point.

No. I think the only way to have him be a top face is for him to become a mega heel first. Give him a year or maybe two as the top heel. Showcase his personality more. Showcase his ability more. Don't be afraid to have him back down here n there. Don't be afraid to let him cheat. Don't let him talk too much and maybe even give him a mouthpiece. And eventually the crowd will decide when the time is right for a face turn.
Slightly off topic, if your not going to turn Roman... turn Dean ASAP. He's severely miscast in the role he's currently in. RAW needs a fresh heel, something new, and either of these two would be perfect IMO.

like other people said Dean and Seth would get cheered and Roman would get booed. same as now. I think they should turn him heel for a year before considering a Shield reunion

I don't think even The Shield can save Roman with the fans. He's tagged with both Dean and Seth at times, and he gets boo'd and the other person gets the cheers, or the entire team gets boo'd due to Roman.

It's because his booking is pure crap. No matter how many times he gets beat up, he over comes the odds. It's not believable and it's beyond annoying

But it does work. Just not on adults who see right through it. But the booking isn't for us. Its for kids. And my nine year old son completely buys into it. He totally believes Reigns is the best because he never loses clean. The same way he thought Cena was the best.

We may be past the point of "saving" Roman if the definition of "saving" means getting the majority of the audience to cheer him. It's possible that, after a very successful run as a heel, the crowd comes around to him as the top babyface. Then again, we're only just seeing that now with John Cena after nearly thirteen years at the top, and a lot of it has to do with the crowd's vitriol being spat at Roman, leaving John an opening.
Roman has held up his end of the bargain in the ring, but he's still not a particularly compelling character, especially as a babyface. His inherent limitations in that role are continuously preventing him from being given a shot by a lot of the audience, and a good portion of that crowd may be so soured on the idea of him that they're unwilling to look past what's been done.
WWE has succeeded in making Roman Reigns a star, and in making his matches seem like they matter. They've also very likely left a lot of money on the table with the way they've handled him, but it's unlikely we'll ever know just how much.

The only thing that can save Roman Reigns is the fans getting tired of booing him. If Reigns withstands the onslaught long enough he will earn the respect of the fans. This is going with the assumption that WWE does absolutely not changes to Roman Reigns for the foreseeable future.
I believe the only person who can be booed more than Roman at this point is Stephanie McMahon.

The thing is the fans will cheer Roman if he's put in the right feud. Look at his feud with Sheamus the fans sided with him because they didn't want Sheamus as champion so I personally believe that he would get cheered in The Shield.

Look at his feud with Sheamus the fans sided with him because they didn't want Sheamus as champion so I personally believe that he would get cheered in The Shield. Eh. He really only got cheered twice in that feud - when he went apecrap on Triple H at TLC, and when he won the title (which you could easily argue was because it was a World Title change on a Raw.) Otherwise, the fans were pretty hostile, and at times totally apathetic toward him. Plus, your theory requires that Roman's feuds largely be with guys who the fans don't want to see in the main event, and that's never a great proposition to sell. The Sheamus feud was dull and terribly boring, largely in part because there was no one to root for. Reigns was a floundering babyface, and Sheamus was not being taken seriously as a main eventer. There aren't many guys on the roster who the audience like less than Roman Reigns, and of the few that there are, I can't think of any that would make for a compelling main event program.

Triple H should make Cena available for both brands. Then have him win the WWE Title as Reigns wins the Universal Title. Then have Cena & Reigns both turn heel, become a new 2 man power trip and win the RAW Tag Titles....I wonder if the explosion of the internet would be felt in all parts of the world.

See the thing is Sheamus was never a popular World champion and I believe that fans saw Roman's win as a relief because it ended yet another boring title run. You have got me pretty curious though. If Roman came out and destroyed Big Cass or Mojo I wonder what kind of reaction he would receive.
