just got the Hollywood Hogan from Ringside. I really like the figure, the accessories are cool, I think the scan looks great, and it looks good next to Mattel figures in my opinion. The slits on the shirt in the back are a nice attention to detail too. Here are some of my complaints, the shirt is already bending upward after like 20 minutes of messing around and taking pictures. The crotch piece is absolutely the strangest thing I've ever seen on a figure, its basically rubber trunks over the legs, absolutely zero plastic piece between the torso and legs? I've never seen that on a figure before that I can think of. It's already driving me nuts that the trunks are dipping below the torso. Also, the weight belt is a pain to get back on. With all that being said, I still really like the figure, and its good to have Hollywood in my collection, brother! wut?? 4 Life.other recent pick ups, tons of pics in the other figures board threads

I feel the same way about the trunks/crotch piece. If that was solid this figure would no doubt be an 11 out of 10. Even in the pics I take the pictures don't do the head justice. It looks just like him and it's painted so well. Not a blemish on mine (other than my son breaking the sunglasses, so sad).

This is how wrestling figures should be made imo.
Now yes the elite figures, have a lot of moving parts. But tell me what elite can sit in a chair (properly) without looking like they are slouched back or wearing tight pants and cannot sit up? The answer is none.
To me, This Hollywood is the "epitome" of an "Elite" wrestling figure.

I really like the black and white pictures. I mentioned in my thread my thoughts on the figure, but I can't stand the floating cod piece that most imports are designed with. It is even worse when they make it too large which unfortunately they did to Hollywood. Also I can't stand when they give figures that lat hinge/wing joint at least one shoulder always looks oddly posed. Still with all the accessories on the design flaws are hidden pretty well.

jesus your pictures are huge, also should go into the other brands board....since it isnt mattel. something tells me nobody is going to look there. I really like the black and white pictures. I have a ton of SH Figuarts and have never come across anything that looks remotely like the way they did the trunks, so I was kind of shocked when I opened the figure and posed him for the first time. I wish there was some sort of plastic piece between the torso and legs, would have made the figure a home run. I absolutely agree that all the accessories on make the figure look great. The shoulder thing doesn't bother me as much but I could definitely see why it would for others.

First time I got one was with a Play Arts Arkham City Batman. And other imported Batman figures I have gotten have had it as well. Storm and Play Arts are the loosest I have encountered.

It looks amazing! So glad to see that some people are finally getting their wish of a WWE figure with nipples.

Is it going to be durable for light play and posing? Heard the SH Figuarts break apart easily, and was wondering if Hollywood was better quality?

I think you might have problems with the hands and feet popping off if you play with it too much. Good thing they pop right back on. This is definitely more of an adult collector figure intended for posing and display. Pic fedders are going to love it but kids, or adults who play like kids, may not be so thrilled.

Still not a Mattel, so I can post my new ROH figures long as they are next to mattels on this board? But I'm sure it will slide so RSC can make money cause of it

Are you sure this is worth complaining about?

The trunks look like the neca style. This is how I imagined wrestling figures would look in 2017 back in 2010. If storm can put this out for 35 then Mattel could make close to that quality for twenty. This is how the figuarts should've looked.
