Carmella tonight on Smackdown Live in those short shorts definitely had my attention! So I believe it, yeah!
People can say how great Sasha, Charlotte, Beck and Bayley are, and they are good sports entertainers, no doubt about that, but sex sells. And Carmella and Alexa are prime examples of that.
So whether you have women wrestlers putting on great matches, or hot eye candy out there competing as well, it's gonna work.

This is the first time that WWE has had hot women that could actually wrestle. In the 80s they had great wrestlers but most were hideous looking. In the 90s you had hot women but they couldnt wrestle their way out of a wet paper bag. Now you have women who are knockouts (no pun intended) and they can put on some of the best matches of the night. I dont think Triple H is being completely honest about the ratings but nonetheless women are a draw now.

The way I look at it is, he would know far more than I would. And I see no benefit in him lying.

If that were true the show would be 50/50 men/women, not 80/20.

I don't really believe that (probably just saying that to look good in the eyes of all those groups and things for women that Stephanie is involved with), but if it is true good for them. Funny though with ratings as bad as they are these days that they try to some how brag about any part of the ratings.

Let us all thank Stephanie McMahon for doing such a great job by starting the Divas Revolution!

Charlotte Flair is the first woman wrestler that has my full attention when she's wrestling.. People are going to look back on her in 50 or 60 years and talk about how great she was.
Charlotte is legit.

Reading the replies in this post reminds me when TNA started their knockouts division and their segments spiked(no pun intended) in the ratings. But, no one wanted to admit it.
As for the "if they get such good ratings, why aren't they on more?" It's called overexposure. WWE is doing a wonderful job with their women workers right now. And most of them are more over than a lot(NOT ALL, a lot) of the male roster.

Nash once said going head to head with sable sucked because she would beat out everything they tried. This is nothing new. Men watch wrestling more than most. Men want to see women.

No woman in the past 12 years since I've been watching had ever caught my attention like Alexa has 😩

If that were true the show would be 50/50 men/women, not 80/20. Or perhaps the reason behind that is that WWE aren't really as into equality as much as they'd like to pretend.

Fair play to them, this is the best the division has been since 2002-2006 imo.

He didn't lie. Awesome to see The Women's division be taken more seriously nowadays... Dumping that bratz doll accessory belt that was the diva's title was a great move as well.

Lying is best for business? Maybe. Seriously, I don't understand why he would lie about this. Segment ratings are easily verifiable. Another non-issue. I believe that it is true and I'm not the least bit surprised.
