He still would be. If the Bullet Club split into two different groups, The Elite would end up being the faces. I just can't see Omega and the Bucks dropping the Elite banner. Especially with the Hot Topic deal now, and Being the Elite getting more and more popular. They'd be throwing a lot of potential merch money down the tubes. Dear. God. No. We don't need a Bullet Club Wolfpac. I mean, the Bullet Club is literally the modern day nWo. You know it's inevitable.

That would be interesting. But from what I saw, seems like Cody will stay the heel. He still would be. If the Bullet Club split into two different groups, The Elite would end up being the faces. They'd be throwing a lot of potential merch money down the tubes. These are excellent points. Well thought out.

Shame he got released I was really getting into his feud with Neville. Didnt watch much of him in TNA but I certainly became a fan of his once he came to WWE. He was also pretty good on commentary I thought.

I'm just going they don't steal everything from the nWo. I knew it was coming from the moment Kenny Omega and the Bucks started calling themselves The Elite.

Atleast we got 2 figures! I'm still pretty bummed out about him leaving. Me and the wife drove an hour and a half to grab ourselves his nxt elite as well as a second for a friend on here. Luckily one store had him.

In the end, this isn't terribly surprising. Aries is known for having an attitude and he's pretty confident of his worth, and evidently, he felt as though being stuck in the Cruiserweight division was beneath him (and he's not wrong.)
Additionally, there are more wrestlers making a decent living outside of WWE right now than there have been in years. Aries is coming off several months of being regularly featured on WWE TV. This is likely the most his name has ever meant. He'll do well in this hot indy market.

He felt he had done all he could and really just took the ball and ran with it off of a one shot appearance on Impact. So he's been doing bonus time for like 5-6 years, that won him another world title and gave him a match at Mania. Which is crazy and why he probably doesn't feel like he needs to be treated like second class in WWE. I get both sides of it. WWE hates that Punk type of personality that doesn't fit in the peg they've cut out for a guy and Aries in his own right has earned the right to be treated better. I think both are better off as much as it hurts to say that since I think Aries had more to do in WWE.

Can't say I ever cared for him. Good in the ring but overhyped, especially by himself and not anywhere near as good as he thinks he is.
I won't miss him.

I love Aries. But I think WWE made the right call having Neville go over. Neville has been on another level as of late. And his run is too good to have been stopped.
As for the WM DVD... I think I'd be upset too. But I wouldn't risk my job over it.

But I am honestly over his grumpy Game of Thrones Dwarf king under the mountain gimmick. Every Monday and Tuesday (205 Live) I have to listen to the same basic lines as he angrily demands his opponents to bend the knee. He's definitely improved his character, but it's becoming so one-dimensional quickly. Isn't this the same fault most people accuse Jinder for? Cutting the same promo week after week? In my opinion Aries should have gone over eventually. If not in their PPV II match, then certainly in their rubber match. I'm speculating that THAT is the straw that broke the camel's back. Aries is equally as decorated and even more world renowned than Neville. If Neville had to drop the title, then Aries was the perfect choice, and WWE dropped that ball.

You must of missed his run in TNA, dude carried the whole X-Division and made it relevant for a years. His WWE run wasn't as impressive as his run in TNA though.

He never seemed to find any kind of groove in WWE like he did elsewhere. Maybe a return to the indies was always inevitable.

Personally, I think I'd vote Neville as the WWE MVP over the last few months. But, I understand what you're saying.
