Is this extremely hard to find, on the American card ?
If so, why ... I mean was it produced way less than the others or what ? ... All I see are French cards.
I ask because I use to have one, sold it over 15 years ago, so I'm wondering what's happened to make it so obscure ... or was it that way to begin with and I was just dumb and had no clue ?
Thanks guys 🤘

I personally don't know why but, yeah, he's super hard to find. One friend called me Koko B. Ware as a kid so I've always appreciated Koko and a while back I used to randomly search the bay for Koko MOC and he would rarely show up with the U.S. card. Just checked now and it looks like a few have gone in the past couple of months for $250 and there's one now listed for $750 which is insane. I've got a European MOC so guess I'll have to stick with that for now.

He hardly ever shows up and when he does he's gone very quick. I managed to pickup one recently and he's mint. Glad to get him as you just don't know when another will appear

I have seen him a few times on bay here in the UK, does the Euro card differ from the US much? I'd have thought being the same language it would have been cheaper to use the same card or was it a product code/barcode thing?

Tough one to find since release, even in the secondary market long after Hasbros' time. Always a favorite of mine because of Frankie, plus how excited I was to finally find one around '95 from a local kid. Bought it for $20, I remember it clear as day.
Now... Isn't the word that he didn't remain in WWF shortly after the figure was released? If so, would it stand to reason that they shipped a ton of figures overseas to rid of them? Same theory could likely make sense for Warrior 3 and others that are rare to find on US cards. Just a thought, I didn't look back on time lines to see if that all checks out.

I bought it for $35 back in the day on Ebay ... like, back when Money Orders were forms of payments lol.
I want to start a Hasbro Collection, but it looks like aI'm probably going to just get a detolf and go the loose route with then... the prices are craziness now.
I also had a Hasbro 1 Undertaker signed, that was sold along with the American Carded Koko.

Yep, got a lot of $ for it even for if I were to sell it now.
I got it signed at a World of Wheels expo around 2002 or so, whenever he was 'Buried Alive' by Kane and was for for a while.
I'll try to find my picture of it and post it up.

I've just picked up Koko on a foreign card from the US. Including postage to UK, it cost me £40, so I will take that.
I'm down to only needing a dozen to complete the collection and have no issues with buying foreign cards, especially when a lot of foreign cards seem to be half the price and always in great condition!

I would love to know if anyone knows casepack break downs on Hasbro waves. I had a hard time finding Koko as a kid, but my parents found him for me someplace. Same with Slaughter. Series 3 seemed to be very limited in distribution here.
And I actually think Warrior #3 was packed in cases with series 4 here as that's when I found him at toys r us finally along with tons of series 4.

I'm actually a big Koko B. Ware fan, so I bought one off the bay probably about 9 or 10 years ago. If I remember correctly, I paid about $30 shipped. I had no idea that the value had risen that much. If I remember, I'll take a picture later and post it.

Thanks guys 🤘 Sorry for the late response, first time I've seen this thread. A while back I read that series 3 was not released until late 1992 - early 1993, by the time it came out some of the figures were no longer under contract with the WWF. A bunch of figures from that line became hard to find, Koko B. Ware, Sgt. Slaughter, Texas Tornado, Brutus Beefcake, Ultimate Warrior, the Legion of Doom, and the Nasty Boys. I never saw the Nasty Boys, the Legion of Doom, and Koko B. Ware in stores, ever. And, I only saw the Ultimate Warrior in stores once. I also read somewhere, a long time ago, that copyright works differently over seas than in the US so they could still sell the figures over seas even though they were no longer under contract with the WWF, which is why there are way more foreign cards of some of these figures than US cards.

I think S3 came out around spring 92' in the U.S. I don't think copyright has anything to do with selling them and the guys leaving. Since design typically started over a year before a figure came out, there were constantly guys released that were long gone from the WWF.
I think there were just less distributed in the U.S. because there were so many S1 and S2 figs warming shelves at the time.
