We'll know when Joe has truly grabbed the brass ring and become a real star - it's when threads/posts about him don't also have to shoehorn in complaints about Roman or Cena. When a Samoa Joe thread is just a Samoa Joe thread and not a "Roman sux" thread co-starring Samoa Joe.
With his recent string of performances, that day may come soon.

Or when we get a ton of anti Joe threads when everyone turns on him for being pushed too hard. Or threads bashing his body for some reason.

for funsies let's see how well Samoa Joe compares to Big Cass in grabbing this brass ring Honestly, Joe and Strowman are two organic breakout stars for 2017 already.

First time in a long time that Brock Lesnar got his ass handed to him by another wrestler. Hopefully they continue the feud because Samoa Joe has been dominating Lesnar and we all know the match at GBOF should of been longer and better.

The more I see Samoa Joe in the WWE is brings tears of joy. From the first time I heard of Samoa Joe and even to today, he is special. I am glad Joe got back his motivation and love to the industry. I am sure Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar would have put on clinics if Joe was there in 2002-2004. Even in 2017, they can put on those style of matches that feels authentic and old-school. I am glad the path at Great Balls of Fire was short. Why I feel like this is simple. You wet the audiences appetite and making them want more. Save the lengthier match when it is a big event. Without a doubt, Samoa Joe is money.
What Joe has over Lesnar is the face and body matches the voice. Joe has been hitting home runs as of late. Given how white hot Joe is right now, having the Universal Championship on Joe is best for business. The WWE needs a World Champion on RAW that appears every week. The Summer is slowly setting the stage for what's to come.

Did you guys notice when Joe's music hit, Brock's face dropped and he even took a step back? It's a little thing, but something tells me he won't do that kind of thing for most of his opponents.

I know deep down inside, Brock Lesnar wished he fought Samoa Joe earlier in his career. I am just so glad that Samoa Joe can showcase his work in the largest audience possible.

Samoa Joe has many people vouching for him.. Stone Cold for example has stated before that he thinks Samoa Joe is one of the best wrestlers working today.. Before he signed with WWE. The dude has clout and the dude has reputation.. And then he was given a program with ANOTHER well respected future hall of famer that not only loved the feud, wants the feud to continue. My point is that Samoa Joe has alot of people in his corner. This isn't just some random flavor of the month getting a quick push.. This is a guy that has been going strong for almost 20 years in the business. First time in a long time that Brock Lesnar got his ass handed to him by another wrestler. Hopefully they continue the feud because Samoa Joe has been dominating Lesnar and we all know the match at GBOF should of been longer and better. Goldberg tho beat the dog sh*t out of him for a solid 6 months.

He did like 2 moves and that was it, where as Joe jumped Lesnar, attacked him and got the better of him. Samoa Joe looks more of a threat to me than Goldberg.

Joe has looked awesome over the last few weeks but I honestly believe it was just to feed him to Lesnar. I know the original plan was Reigns vs Brock for SS but I wouldnt mind seeing Brock vs Reigns vs Braun Strowman (who ruins next weeks match) vs Samoa Joe

Joes been on top of his game for sure. Somewhat unrelated, but I really wish he'd start using the Muscle Buster again. I'm not a huge fan of the Coquina Clutch as a finisher. Unless it's Brock taking it, it looks like just a sleeper hold. He was using the Muscle Buster in NXT, even after the Kidd injury. I think if he broke that out against Brock and beat him, that would put over the move greatly

He's still going to lose the SummerSlam rematch but Joe has brought the first exciting Lesnar stuff out in years
I think SummerSlam we're getting:
Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe II
Reigns vs Strowman - Last Man Standing
Miztourage vs Rollins/Ambrose - Handicap

Joe is by far one of the best in the business and has an attitude and aura about him. Even when his very music hits you know that there is going to be trouble.

Same exact point I was trying to make. out of a thread of 30+ comments, only two spoke negatively of roman and they were directly relevant to the brass ring reference. it's still awesome to see styles and joe in the wwe, where they should have been 12+ years ago. i haven't been keeping up to the wwe recently but the brock/joe feud has me intrigued so i'm going to watch some of it and possibly report back.

I was never a Samoa Joe fan but ever since he's came to the main roster I've been liking him more and more and the leadup to this match and the actual match itself sold me on him. He actually made you believe he could beat Lesnar. Like it's been pointed out in this thread he took full advantage of the opportunity they gave him with this fued.
