Hey guys,
just a quick question, any idea why one of my blue rings has NO Hasbro details stamped on the bottom? its also allot more rigid than the others, could it be a Euro variant? came with black square top posts.
I have one of each type, Blue posts round and square, black posts round and square and yellow, but this one seems to have a different base, thickeness colour and pattern on the stairs (dots)
Cheers

Back to my original question guys, heres a pic of the differences in my rings, you will see the stair pattern is different and also one has NO Hasbro stamp on it at all anywhere on the mold. No Hassbro stamp or date:

Never noticed the ring step variant. I'm thinking its a euro mold, I'm pretty sure thinking about it this was the ring I got from Germany, it had black square top ring posts, its strange as it has no Hasbro date or stamp on it anywhere and its allot more ridged, allot firmer and slightly bluer.

Time to start looking I guess lol Sometimes sellers will sell just the posts which is good so you don't have to pay high postage to get the ring over here and try then put them on a cheap UK square top

Great post. Would it come under a different manufacturer. Still Hasbro, but they often used different smaller companies in europe.

Now theres a thought, looking at the boxs and MOC figures in Germany they still say Hasbro, but seeing my ring has no stamp it may have been sub contracted to another company. Some more info would be great, sadly my ring came loose so I didn't get to see the original box or instructions.

My only thinking they've either used a different company to make the ring and put the Hasbro name to it or it's a different Hasbro factory. But then again pretty much everything would have been made in China. So maybe it's a European version. Hard to say. Anyone with a better thought?

Another variation that many don't know or mention is on the ropes.
Some of the later blue rings had ropes which were attached together with a silver fastener so you never had to tie them yourself.
VERY hard version to come by and of course unless you open the box to look there's no real way to know if you are getting this version or not.
I had one but sold it a long time back.
