Saw that earlier in the week. Corbin tweeted later that the kid was a family member, (the tweet though was more in character, saying he didn't care about other people's kids)

I wish Corbin would have picked that kid up, looked him dead in the eyes, and told him to stop being a p*ssy. #boothebadguys

damn now I'm a fan of Baron Corbin.
nice try to get back into character on the tweet though. Wonder if he got any heat in the back for that act. I could just hear Vince screaming his head off.

The tweet is pretty funny. Regardless of whether or not that's true, Corbin seems like a cool dude. I met him briefly last year after a house show when I was hanging around out back with some friends and a bunch of other fans. The way the parking lot is set up, it's super easy for guys and gals to just come out of the building, smile and wave, and be on their way without interference. It's also really accessible for the fans if the wrestlers choose to engage them.
A lot of guys did the rounds and met everyone, and Corbin was one. He was super kind, soft spoken and humble. My friends and I were toward the end of the line (it's just a giant square parking lot that gets roped off with tape, so people stand around the outside of the tape and the wrestlers work their way down if they so choose.) Corbin stopped and talked to us for a minute or two, shook our hands, thanked us for coming, asked us if we were from the area, etc. I told him how impressed I'd been with his work so far on the main roster and he seemed genuinely appreciative.
He told everyone up front before he approached that he wouldn't be taking pictures because he "wanted to keep up appearances", which I actually respect the hell out of. He did sign anything people wanted, though.

Love how he stayed in character with the tweet. Seems like such a cool dude and I'm glad he's had the success he has.

Corbin instantly made me a fan, keeping to kayfabe. ANYONE who tries to keep kayfabe alive is alright in my books.

I remember watching him at the HOF and he's so different outside the ring. Like you'd never think he'd have the personality he does. He was super chill and funny and seems like a genuine guy
