I'm fairly sure at least half the members on here have no idea who half, or more, of the names listed in OP are. I feel like most of them were wrestling before I was alive

I know the quality of mattel is superior of jakks, but its not the same era, and the way how the figs are made is different.
Its just i dont understand, where all the old members are ?
I remember a time wih hints and mystery surrounding a new signed wrestler, now they will release virgil ampeg warmer for sure , and after they say legendsndont sell...
Bring dino bravo, hercules, battle kat,pat patterson, duke droese, adrian adonis, black scorpion, kona crush, evil crush, original smash, islanders, conquistadors, orient express, rougeau bros, uncle elmer, nailz, steiner bros, jp lafitte, im sure they will sellnlike little hot cakes

I never understand Mattel, I've never seen someone pick up a zombies figure or I never see anyone pick up a Flexforce or Tough Talkers I think they're called now. So I don't get why they still make these when they could put more budget into the Elite Figures and Basic Figures. Oh my god, if we have to go through the budget explanation again... I know what the budget situation is, but I'm just saying that why do they make these when these don't sell. They've tried Flexforce so many times and it doesn't work, why don't they try something different.

I ask for the Legends I still want made, but unlike Jakks last I heard/read Mattel isn't going out and signing anyone to merchandise deals. So that coupled with the concussion lawsuits means there's a lot less choice right now Gobbledy Gooker: Gobbledy Cooker: I know which one I might buy a figure of Personally I wouldn't buy either.

I 100 percent agree. Keep making the legends. If they do the epic 2 packs. Why not Rocky Johnson and the Rock? Windham and Black Jack? Great matches like Snuka and Muraco or Snuka and Piper. But new legends. The Bruiser and the Crusher. Throw individual legends in with the current elite. Harley Race, Superstar Billy Graham, Bob Backlund and so many more. They will be the ones people or we will fight for.

When will people understand that kids dont care about your favorites from 30 years ago. The Legends line died once already. We going for a record or something? Id bet 20 Tito Santana figures that a Dino Bravo or Greg Valentine would melt steel beams theyd warm so hard....

Dear Hater,
This is a forum that we can express what we want ... who are you to say what kids want? You think kids would hate the Berzerker? Looks like a cool figure to me. Do kids not watch the WWE Network? Are kids not allowed to watch it in your world? Why have the WWE network if you don't show the past? Why are ebay prices for legends so expensive but not for current wrestlers? Ooooooooooh! How do you like me now? Get off this thread hater. The legends are speaking up. Go get your Heath Slater figure and have fun. We want LEGENDS!

Some Legends are signed and readily available to make. Bob Backlund former WWE Champion. I certainly think he would be great in an elite line. I remember when Super hero figures came out they were careful about adding women characters to the line then BAM! There were no Avengers because we were told nobody cared about them. BOOM. Now that is all you see. WCW/WWF/WWE etc on youtube, books, video games, WWE network and appearing currently throughout are all supporting ways to incorporate them.

They were old men who looked old. And why would a kid care about 20+ year old midcard talent? Unless someone older was making them watch it with them. These forums make up a very small population of figure buyers

This is the issue.
80s mid and low carders, very evidently struggle to resonate in this day and age with a core buyer. Which makes logical sense.
Guys who remember Rock n Roll Express, Backlunds first run etc, are in their late 40s and 50s now. How many are buying toys? Really?
Jakks Classics 10-12 years ago were fine, those guys were mid 30s maybe no kids, etc wtc.
And Dino Bravo was NEVER getting made.
How has this thread reached 2 pages, its a drunk rant at best.

Tito Santana can't melt steel beams. #Investigate311 To be fair, the Legends line did die, just like Defining Moments and Entrants Greats.

Dino bravo was near to be signed. Myself i knew the family, at the time, i was the connection between jakks and the widow, i knew his nephew and daughter. Jakks lost the licence just at the same time, that the offer was on the table

As much as I love collecting characters from the era I grew up watching (late 80's-mid 90's), I can accept figures not being in made in favor of others.
Some of you Legends/Flashback collectors are worse than Diva collectors. Geez.
Don't like what Mattel puts out? Don't buy it. Oooooh! How do you like me now?
