I think WWE backed themselves in a corner with this match, hopefully it works out and neither guy comes off bad and lose clean.

If John Cena beats Jinder Mahal at Summerslam to BREAK RIC FLAIR'S RECORD only for WWE to send Corbin down there and cash in on Cena robbing Cena of this monumental once-in-a-lifetime moment I will never forgive them. That is the equivalent of Lesnar breaking the streak. I agree. I could see Cena beating Jinder, Corbin coming down but Nakamaura coming down to attack Corbin. That continues their feud and it also aligns Nakamura with Cena. I could see the Survior Series main event being Cena-Nakamura or a triple threat including Corbin. WWE does like to screw around with storylines and stuff but I don't see them watering down Cena's 17th. At least I hope not.Well his big 16th reign, the MONUMENTAL RECORD TYING ONE!!! Lasted a whole two weeks. That is exactly why I've hated nearly every reign of his. Aside form 3? 4 reigns they've all been three months tops but he's THE GREATEST CHAMPION! Shut up Cole. Anyhow I hope someone screws Cena out of the match against Shin, don't care who. He faces them at SummerSlam, while Jinder and Shinsuke face off. Although if Cena must face Jinder, Singh Brothers interfere and Cena takes them out, Khali then wobbles into the ring and he gets an AA, Jinder catches Cena with the Khallas to continue Big Match John's losing streak.

Cena should have 1 more title reign, let it go on till wm where he can put over the next big star, then take a break, and when he comes back just let him have blood feuds, kinda like what HBO did after he won the WHC, once he lost that he had title matches, but he never won, just had meaningful important feuds

I'm guessing it's down to one of a few scenarios:
-Nakamura hasn't gotten over like they hoped on the main roster, and they are expecting this match to give him a big boost. -Nakamura hasn't gotten over like they hoped on the main roster, so they've abandoned the idea of him being a big PPV opponent for Cena down the line. -Cena's dates are limited and they've already got PPV plans for them all that don't involve Nakamura, so they're gonna use it to try and pop a rating on TV.

Anything but a clean Nakamura win makes this another stupid Cena vanity project.

I see Corbin costing Nakamura the match. They're not finished yet. I think it's a way to tie all four men together. Cena will beat Jinder. He's a good guy so I can see him granting Nakamura a title match down the line. Insert Corbin.. will he cash in? Or will he just tease it? If John Cena beats Jinder Mahal at Summerslam to BREAK RIC FLAIR'S RECORD only for WWE to send Corbin down there and cash in on Cena robbing Cena of this monumental once-in-a-lifetime moment I will never forgive them. That is the equivalent of Lesnar breaking the streak. not really. winning a title, let alone 16 of them, 30 years ago is an unfeasible feat that was only seen once. winning the title 16 times in today's age just means you're vince's pet project. it would be like comparing hogan's reigns to sammartino.
