Hey guys, how realistic is Terry Taylor to be made by Mattel? Pros - simple design and I'd even take Red Rooster if it's a WWE licensed name Cons - quickly becoming one of those obscure 80s figures everyone suddenly doesn't want us older collectors to have

Red Rooster is a better possibility than Taylor. He is under contract since he is a NXT trainer so its definitely possible. That said, I am thinking Tito may have really hurt the chances of the lower card golden era guys with plain attire from getting made.

I'd like a Terry Taylor. I bought the Jakks fig a few years back. For some reason I'm leaned more towards Red Rooster at this time.

I know when we think back of the 80s we're automatically looking at big names like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, but guys like Terry Taylor, Chris Adams, Steve Dr. Death Williams, etc. really made the golden era what it was all over the territories. It's a pity because even Terry's Taylor Made man gimmick would be cool - suited figure with slick back pony tail.

I'd buy it. But I'm all for first time in line figures. I'd buy the hell out of dr death too. One of my favorites when I was growing up.

I'm down for a Red Rooster. He'd help buff out my 80s roster and I'm a sucker for the crappy gimmicks.

Red Rooster will be a SDCC exclusive down the line I think.

Id love a Taylor or a Rooster. Honestly I would be ok if they just made it a basic. It could easily be swapped into an Elite

I'd be down for a Terrific Terry Taylor or a Red Rooster figure.

Red Rooster will be a SDCC exclusive down the line I think. He does certainly fit the current criteria for that.

Yep, need a Red Rooster, Terrific Terry Taylor and a Taylor Made Man!
My Jakks Terry Taylor is a jobber for my other figures simply because he's a chunky Jakks - and still can't shake his Red Rooster jobber stigma! If I grabbed him as a Mattel, I might let him pick up a few 'new guy wins' 😂

would LOVE a Red Rooster fig!
surprised jakks never made one. he was all over tv back then. in the main event at survivor series 88.
wish mattel could figure out a way to make more obscure guys.
im tellin ya, a 4-fig flashback set is the way to go. you put your rocks, hhh's, and stone cold in there, your hogan, flair, bret, savage ,warriors, then you have an obscure guy limited to 1 case. and DONT OVER PRODUCE THEM! makes them a challenge to find and quickly into the collectors market once stores are sold out.

I would prefer The Taylor Made Man, but seeing how terrible a suited Corey Graves looks, I wouldn't even suggest it.
