A friend of mine was going through his closet and found an old Ted Arcidi and got me to thinking. I don't know a lot about current wrestling so I put the question to anyone that might be able to answer. Who is the Ted Arcidi of the Mattel era of wrestling figures?

Hmmm I'm assuming you mean someone who was barely known and spent little time in WWE but got a figure. I can't think of anyone by Mattel as of now. Michael Tarver maybe?

Ted Arcidi was brought into the WWF to basically replace Ken Patera. Patera was in prison for two years and while he was away, Ted Arcidi was playing the part of the strongman. He only had a handful of matches and somehow LJN released a figure of him. He didn't do much with the company and as soon as Patera was able to come back to the WWF, Arcidi was released. Short stint guys I guess is what I'm saying, guys that didn't do much but Mattel found away to get them in the line.
Edit: I see that some have already gathered what I was trying to ask. Thanks.

Ted arcidi & outback jack are in the same boat. I can't think of any of my friends growing up that actually owned an ljn Ted arcidi. Not one! I do remember a bunch of his figures in toys r us,Jamesway, clover & odd lot when I was a kid in the 80's.

Michael Tarver or Mike Knox are the two names that popped in my head. Mike Knox was there for 5 years. He did nothing, but that's still a long time

I remember my Ted Arcidi taking a lot of pin falls when I was younger. I guess because i didn't really know who he was lol. Like others have said maybe Trent Tarver or the bunny. Maybe the United Kingdom guys could be early contenders.

Michael Tarver or Mike Knox are the two names that popped in my head. Forgot about tarver! I bet his figure goes for big $ in that battle pack. Only if the Battle Pack is MOC. Recent auctions for loose Michael Tarver only went for $11-18 shipped.

From the Elite line I'm thinking Yoshi Tatsu or Tensai. Adam Rose is probably a wtf figure at this point.

He had 2 figures, a Battle Pack release in white trunks with Randy Orton and a Basic series in red trunks and long hair.
