Cena has been involved in every failed cash in.

Made Corbin look like a goof, which pissed me off.

That was such a terrible idea on WWEs part that I actually thought I was watching RAW for that last segment

I personally never cared for Corbin as champ, so this was the best outcome for me.

I hate that they changed the rule to the champion has to be able to get to his feet before the match can start. It makes the cash in fall flat and usually predictable. If it was real, why would the champion even bother standing up? I would just crawl all the way to the back.
Last night, I was annoyed at how the ref rang the bell, then backed off Corbin, then it took forever for Jinder to get to his feet, then the bell rang again.
It would have been so much better if Jinder was already getting to his feet while Corbin was handing over the case and everything had happened quicker.
For me, the timing of the sequence was all off. I'm also disappointed that this happened last night because you now don't have Corbin looming over the title match at Summerslam.

Come on, it had to be done at some point. If they wanna add any legitimacy to the MITB concept there has to be failed attempts. They cant have big cash ins that make stars every year.
I just hope that isn't it for Corbin.
I've never changed my opinion on someone so drastically than I have for big banter. They've been hinting at pushing him for about a year now. He's been in world title matches, eliminating Strowman from the Rumble and obviously winning MITB. I just hope he goes and tears Cena apart and they can use his anger to take him to the next level.
He's not the finished article (which might be why they did what they did last night) but he's a brilliant heel. Hopefully this turns out to be a blessing in disguise for the guy.

I didn't like this. I understand that at some point someone will lose after cashing in. But why not let him have a solid match and loose? Letting him get rolled up in a few seconds was lame in my opinion. I'm not even a Corbin fan to be honest but I just didn't like it. I'm very curious to see if he gets the W at SS ve Cena.

I honestly think this was done purely because Cena/Corbin was a weak feud with only a 2 week build up leading up to SummerSlam and having Cena screw Corbin out of winning the WWE title would cause fans to become more invested in the match, I mean look how much it's been discussed already since last night? Corbin has a great opportunity to legitimise himself (maybe even more than if he won the title last night) and really shine in this feud with Cena and before anyone starts the whole "he's gonna get buried by Cena and his career will go downhill" b.s, if that does happen then it's Corbin to blame especially when guys like AJ Styles who had mentioned on Edge & Christian's podcast that "John brings out the best in people, and then they have to keep that momentum going." It'll be interesting to see what happens on Sunday and regardless what happens, I'm sure Corbin will be fine.

I didn't like it either, but I think letting Corbin have a solid match and lose would have hurt him even more. He should have lost faster to really make it look like Cena screwed him, rather than waiting for an eternity then looking foolish.

Watch Corbin just absolutely destroy Cena at SummerSlam in their first match, then he'll win clean in their second and then Cena will flatten him in their final match

I like Corbin. I think he's got a great upside. I even like his character. But I think it's too soon for him to win the WWE Championship. He still has work to be done before that day should come. So if he would lose the briefcase, I don't think that's his end of days. Eh? He can take his time and go back to the main event in another year or two. As for his physique... it works for him, but I would like to see him tone up a bit. If he could put on some solid muscle, along with his size, it would be a recipe to print money. As I said above... I like Corbin. And I'm sure he'll be champ someday. But it's still too soon. He still has another year or two till his time should come. Overall, he'll be fine.

As I said in the Smackdown Thread, I would be absolutely cool with this IF they did it 2-3 weeks ago. Corbin costs Cena the match so Cena costs Corbin his briefcase. Now Cena/Corbin have an actual reason to fight at Summer Slam. Just have Corbin attacking Cena and they go back and forth for 1-2 Smackdowns leading into Summer Slam. Actual heat and build up to a match. Wowzaa. But no, they do it on the Go-Home show.

Seems like WWE realized they made a mistake by giving him the briefcase. I'm not shocked. He's one of the worst I've ever heard on the mic. This is not a good sign for him.

This could work out good for Corbin because he can go over Cena and then win the title down the line at some point.
However I hope this doesn't mean Nakamura will win at Summerslam because he has been far from impressive since being called up.

Corbin is a decent talent but far away from deserving to be WWE Champion at the moment (even if he is better than who currently holds it).
Glad he can go back to having a traditional rise if he keeps improving.
If Shinsuke goes over Jinder, and Jinder falls down the card I'll probably start giving Smackdown a chance again.
