Well, no not really. Im a grown man that's married. This is a question though.
The other day I was at Six Flags, I was recording my son at the Water Park. In the background "Woolly Bully" was playing. When I tried to upload the video I was denied by facebook. It challenged the ownership of the rights to said song. I hadnt seen this before. So im wondering if this has happened to anyone else yet? Are we now supposed to try and cover the mic if music is playing in the background when we record moments in time?

Facebook is probably being extra cautious to avoid a lawsuit.

Never had this happen to me, but I only ever uploaded 1 video to Facebook in the 5-6 years that I used it. Ironically it was a video from a concert.

Companies are getting more aggressive about that. Same on youtube. It's not really meant for situations like yours, but it effects them anyway.

lol it's probably just Facebook being overprotective of itself. People can sue for anything these days.

I don't have input as to why this happened, I just wanted to say I appreciated the title of the thread and the first sentence.
That and TRW's sigs.

It's confusing because I imagine Six Flags pays for every song played in the park. And as a paying customer I would imagine I'd be free to enjoy the park in anyway I choose that's with in the park rules. So me sitting and recording my son wouldnt seem like a bad thing to me.
Plus, you can buy a photo pass at Six Flags which would entitle you to own the rights to your pictures taken inside of the park.
I know I wont get an answer to this, I just wanted to share is all. That and knock the "Girl Advice" threads.

That happened to a few of my friends too when trying to upload videos to youtube. The fact that real music was in said video, it got flagged somehow and it got taken down.
You would think that these bands would be happy to have the free publicity in a way. Maybe someone hears a song that they never heard before and ends up buying the song online or even buying the CD in stores.

Meanwhile there are full length movies on youtube. Maybe facebook just hates families trying to share memories?
