So I think a few of us have been annoyed with some of the part choices from time to time, but man these skinny legs kill figures for me way to frequently.
I feel like they are just too skinny to look like a grown mans thighs and quads. Even for guys like HBK and Bret Hart, but my real is is when it's used for guys like Sting and the JYD. Guys who are not thin stick men by any stretch.
So why do you guys think these get used so much? Who do you think they actually are accurate for?

I don't really mind them. I know people get in a fuss because they use them on AJ and Seth and several others but I get annoyed with arm choices more so than the leg choices.

I'm guessing they do it as it saves on plastic and therefore money. Less volume and all that.
It's a pity coz Lex Luger, British Bulldog and Sheamus are some others that spring to mind that would look better with thicker thighs.

Mattel figures are thin in general.

Arm choices are far worse than leg choices imo.

I don't see an issue with them.

It's annoying and I'm curious as well. The problem is the proportions of these legs look way off. For example, any crow compared to his surfer the dudes legs look so massive. It was a huge though in comparison with the thin torso they gave his wolfpac figure. Guys like Austin, Neville, AJ, Rollins, Daniel Bryan (who should of used the funk torso) could benefit from the thicker leg mold. Mattel makes some great figures, but sometimes the part choices are just mindboggeling and then we get Dolph having thunder thighs.

I've always felt Mattels are always on the thin side just as Jakks were always on the roid monster side.

Height is often created using the legs rather than the torsos. That's why some have small skinny ones and others are stilt monsters (Undertaker, Randy Orton). It has always bothered me. Some Mattel figures are positively perfect while others are not. It's the downside of having such modular bodies.
