Corbin deserved better than this. The guy has worked his butt off this past year and I was looking forward to him taking the title from Mahal as he's been built as a legit heel who doesn't need backup. Funny how Cena has been involved in both failed MITB cash ins (besides his own).

Stupid that Baron lost his MITB just like that, if he loses to John Cena on Sunday it'll be a huge waste.

Wow! I honestly thought that Baron was gonna win the belt and that it was gonna become a fatal 4 way just like Raw with having Jinder vs. Corbin vs. Nakamura vs. Cena for the WWE Title. But seeing Jinder beat Corbin is gonna do wonders for Corbin now. It gives him that anger and rage to win the belt without the MITB ways, and actually do it in a wrestling match from start to finish that he's involved in. You act like the WWE knows what they're doing. Same thing was said about Sandow loosing. People said he'd be an angrier version of his character and win it on his own. Still waiting for that...

Was that when he returned and was on Team WWE vs. Nexus? They've put AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho on from the night after Royal Rumble 2016 now. Yeah and he had some generic music too, and then I watched 2011 SummerSlam where he was just a generic face and lost to Wade, the dude probably had the biggest change in WWE. Such a rise from mediocre to the most over star possibly ever in the company I always thought Daniel Bryan in his Summerslam 2011 attire looked more like a main eventer than he did when he had long hair, a beard and wearing T-shirts with goats or beards on it.

I didnt watch Smackdown tonight, but i paid attention to the WWE app notifications. I read that Baron Corbin cashes in the MITB, and that he failed. Then i read here that he lost due to a roll up by Mahal with Cena interfering. Im not gonna yell about the booking stupidity that that was, got too much patience or dont care enough to do so. But i will agree that it was dumb for Corbin to lose his cash in. WAY WORSE than when Sandow lost. At least Sandow got a 20 minute match out of his. I also hear people yell Road Doggs name. Is he really a writer for Smackdown, if so when did this happen, cause i thought he was only a producer, having very little to do with creative? I knew i made the right call missing Smackdown tonight. Also, when it comes to Summerslam, i am looking forward to the RAW matches WAY more than the SD matches.

SD was just okay tonight. Never really kept my attention like RAW did last night.
The Corbin cash in was alright. If it's the catalyst into him being even angrier, then it was all worth it. If it was Vince going sour on Corbin, then he's in trouble. I'll let it play out before I judge.
Usos & New Day always deliver.
Can't buy into Natalya vs Naomi.
Was looking forward to Gable vs Rusev again.
AJ vs Owens with Shane is okay. I like AJ & Owens, but I don't need to see Shane involved in another story line.
I thought Jinder should have looked stronger against Cena. Jinder lost last week to Orton which did him no favors. This didn't either. Nakamura should have been the first to pin him in months.
No Sami, Dillinger, Mike & Maria, Harper, Rowan, or Ziggler doesn't help. Land of opportunity, my ass.
Getting tired of the Fashion Police skits. Time to get them back in the ring.

Yeah, but Corbin is tall and Vince likes them big and/or tall. So I am pretty sure Corbin is safe and will be a WWE Champion one day. Sandow was a joke. Actually, that whole MITB match where he won the title in was kind of a joke. Ambrose was the only real guy who could have won it, and he was still busy being US Champion early on in the Shield days.

They really need to get rid of the MITB match/concept. Its completely run its course.

Not the biggest Corbin fan but boy oh boy did they mess up.
Road Dogg is the absolute craps with booking.

I'm just happy the stale cash in after a PPV main event where a new champ has just been crowned isn't going to happen on Sunday.

Wasn't Road Dogg doing the booking when everyone was raving about SD a few months ago? Or was there a change I'm unaware of?

Overall a good show.
- I really hope Natalya of Carmella walks out of SS the women's champion.
- Jinder is really starting to grow on me
- Breezango is the best part of Smackdown
- I'm not a fan of Corbin losing after cashing in

Corbin just screams mediocrity, not sad in the least.
Now I'm hoping for a Nakamura win, though I do wish he was over a lot more than he is with the casuals. Anything is better than Jinder.
