Apparently Ambrose made history joining an exclusive club becoming a Grand Slam Champion so it begs the question of how many Grand Slam Champions there are in WWE right now

He also became the youngest Grand Slam Champion of all time, beating Miz by a month.

With so many titles/brands I really just cant consider a Grand Slam champion worth anything any more. The only thing that impresses me is if you win the WWE World, IC and Tag titles (even though the linage for the tag titles is garbage)

Hardcore Title
European Title
US Title
IC Title
WWE Tag Title
Raw Tag Title
WWE Title
World Title
not to mention the TV Title and Cruiser Weight Titles he held in WCW

Chris Jericho is the ultimate grand slam champion though. Hardcore Title European Title US Title IC Title WWE Tag Title Raw Tag Title WWE Title World Title not to mention the TV Title and Cruiser Weight Titles he held in WCW Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho are the only two to win all eligible titles in the original Grand Slam format. As much as titles changed hands after the attitude era, there haven't been that many Grand Slam champs. The only active Grand Slam champs are Dean, Jeff Hardy, Big Show, The Miz and Jericho. Give it time and maybe Daniel Bryan gets added to the active list as he did it as well. |

The "WWE Revisionist" have changed the meaning of Grand Slam to include winning the Hardcore Championship. That's how Kane & Big Show are included as a Grand Slam because neither one held the European title. Edit: I missed Booker T. He never held the European title but is considered a Grand Slam Champion because he held the Hardcore title. |

Well-deserved for Ambrose. The guy works his ass off every single night, never misses any time and has remained over as hell despite the company's awful booking of him over the past year.

Make that aweful booking over the past 3 years. He's been treeated as the ugly step child of the Shield since the split but has remained arguably the most over of the three in that time. |

I respect the hell out of Ambrose and resent how badly the WWE have treated him over the years so It's nice that he has accomplished something that his Shield brothers haven't.

On an odd note, Goldust still has a chance at the ORIGINAL Grand Slam if he ever got a sympathy world title. He's held everything else of the originals.

If they ever had to vacate the World title and did a tournament, put him and Regal in the finals. I would watch that match. Have both men pulling out all the stops to get that elusive world title. I would tune in for that. I'm sure millions of fans would tune out though. |
