Anyone clicking on the WWE board of a wrestling forum the night of a PPV without having watched the show is doing it to themselves. I understand on Facebook or something, to not mess with your friends. But a WWE board is going to discuss it, and if you can't hold off coming to the board for a day, that's on you imo.
Also I think this thread arguably has a reason to exist outside the No Mercy thread, since it's also discussing the future, if Brock will lose it at all before Mania, not just this show

This match was a snooze fest. I expected more from Cena.

The good thing is, after Brock and maybe Goldberg, they're eventually gonna run out of guys to put Roman over. Then he can start consistently destroying some more current talent. And hopefully, in another 10 years or so, he may finally become a part-timer. And we'll get to hear his 50 new nicknames repeated 1000 times a night by Tom Phillips.

I didn't expect Strowman to win and I don't even think it was the right time for him to win. Strowman is probably gonna be livid these coming months and I can see him getting retribution later.
Bliss winning was lame. She's beating everyone and it's ten times worse than when Charlotte was on top. Bonus, Charlotte wrestles much better than her too.
I was disappointed in the Cena-Reigns match. Those two have done better and if Reigns was gonna win then he should've hit more than one of his finishers... Cena hit like 26 AAs and Reigns got out of them all. I like Reigns, but it was upsetting just like it would be upsetting if anyone else did it.
The tag match was fantastic though, imo. It was great without the injury to Cesaro but I feel like that added a layer to the matchup.

Yeah, true. I don’t think someone posing a a question in the thread wouldn’t work though as the thread usually dies when the show is over. The 12 hour spoiler ban isn’t a bad idea and could prevent many people complaining. In my opinion, at this point, it should just be common sense upon members here to not go on the WWE board after a PPV if they haven’t watched it. Common sense would be not to use a blatant title stating that Brock’s still the champion almost immediately after the PPV finished. Common sense would not to create a thread especially when the question is “why is WWE d*ck riding Brock Lesnar” when it could be posted in the PPV thread. If people don’t know how to use this forum then maybe they shouldn’t be on it. Excuse me for being upset over Brock retaining lmao.
You need to seriously chill. Besides its your own fault going into the thread anyway.

I was trying to figure out who's the next viable contender and its Reigns... no doubt about it, would rather it not be but they want him to be the best thing going so we're stuck with him.
Why are people bitching about spoilers this is a wrestling site and this crap is fresh news, I stayed awake for 24 hours to watch No Mercy live, if I hadn't I'd have avoided facebook and this site until I was able to watch it, you should do the same...

Roman was OK but I thought Cena was very underwhelming. Its a match that could be better so I hope it happens again.

Basically Lesnar is beating people with one F-5 recently so come time for Roman/Lesnar II, when Roman kicks out of one of them, it'll be such a shock and when he kicks out of two more, everyone will explode

I put more of it on Cena for being underwhelming tbh. Reigns has been putting on a lot of good matches the last two and a half years. Cena's heart wasn't in it, and it showed from the beginning. I honestly think he didn't go all out because he didn't want to risk being hurt before he films the Bumblebee movie Dude knows inside that Roman isn't the guy so I can only imagine how it feels that he's stepping aside for him

Cena brings out the best of everyone, that's why he's the guy. It's almost as if Cena wanted Roman to bring out the best in him and he couldn't do.
If you're gonna be THE guy, it's your job to work the match and make anyone your facing look good. It's your job to go out there, and no matter who you're facing, make them work and get a good match. John has done that since the beginning and over the last couple years has real stepped it up.
If Roman is gonna be the guy, it's what he's gonna have to do. He couldn't do it. He could not get a good match out of John and just like in his promos against Cena, he sank in the situation he was put in. Roman has good matches with people who are better than him because they work the match. Roman needs to learn how to do it on his own, because Cena in his day has faced some awful people but I can tell you right now, he tried to get something out of them and attempted to make an entertaining match.

Only other thing I'd comment on is how disappointing the manner in which Strowman lost was. I mean the guy walked away from an ambulance crash. I was expecting Brock to have to destroy him. 1 F5 to put him away was hard to take. It also lacked the big hype feel the build up had. Didn't even feel like a title match let alone a main event. Oh yeah, and Charlotte was a much better champion than Bliss. Just had to get that off my chest.

My friends were thinking that if Cena was calling the match, he wasn't going all out because of possibly a respect issue. I, on the other hand, was thinking Cena was testing Reigns--letting Reigns call the match to see how he'd be able to go because for the next decade, Reigns is the main event. He has to be the one taking care of the younger/inexperienced workers. I can't see company man Cena going out of his way to phone it in.

I don't know why all of Reigns wins seem very anti-climatic. Both him beating Cena and Undertaker didn't feel right.

Brock is gonna hold his title forever. He's gonna be champ until there is nothing left.
