Every Walmart I go to can't seem to sell these two. They are just sitting there and don't appear to be moving anytime soon, which is no doubt holding up the TNF series 3 figures. I don't think it was a bad idea for Mattel to release Earthquake & Typhoon, but I think this was the wrong series and wrong store to do it for. I hope Mattel learns from this and only sticks popular guys who will sell well in the TNF line from this point forward. I have no idea when my Walmart will get the 3rd series in as I've been looking for a few weeks now and not one of either figure is selling at the couple Walmart I've checked. I think it's safe to say these two are the Tito Santana of the TNF line.

My Walmart just got another case of TNF ELITE Series 2. I won't see TNF 3 in my area until Christmas. 😞😞😞

I dont see too many cenas rotting shelves for years at a time. But there are plenty macho man, sting, finn balor, hbk, y2j, bret harts and when able to make them, hogans. Many better options than earthquake and typhoon.

I think there are some confusion that figures are peg warming vs widely available but for TNF and HOF - store exclusives that have a upc or peg for those lines that the store doesn't want empty shelves, so what else would go there?
Yeah when you only see Tito in every target he's warming but I've seen the whole set of TNF not just natural disasters in most stores as well as Some from wave 1.
These Store exclusives aren't necessarily warming but perhaps are readily available & stocked.

Nah. The death of the line has not come yet. I would still buy them if I could find them.

Seems like the east coast as a whole hasn't gotten TNF 3 yet. I think it's just another case of the store buying too much.

People don't know the difference between warming and being readily available....Sheamus 2012-2014 warming.....Tito Santana warming.....Berzerker being the last of the current set being picked up, then natural disasters being available from the current set after so many complained about Series 1 not being available, being able to get any of the NXT series one figures you want is not shelf warming. Shelf warming to me is a figure still being available in large quantities after several more sets have come and gone.

Only 2 Walmarts in my area have 1 of each tnf2. But 2 pegs full of cenas last 2 elite releases.
I don't think it's a big deal, just look at it as figures that you will get at a discount soon. If they put those cents for 7$ I Will buy 3 or 4 of them. Same with tnf, I'll buy them all up at a discount

They would sell just fine here if people didn't keep taking the belts.

We need more flashbacks! --- Gets new series to get some obscure flashbacks. We need better distribution for these exclusive series! --- Series is relatively easy to find and shipped to the stores to the point they're clogged.
Mattel sees exclusive flashbacks aren't moving at a good pace, scales things back --- We need more flashbacks! Stores sees that they're clogged on the shelves which delays future series --- We need better distribution!
This sums things up?

"Shelf warming" gets thrown around way too often around here. When a figure is still sitting around in large quantities 1-2 years after it released, then it's warming. I've seen people say a figure is warming before the wave is even readily available. Just because you don't want a figure and can still find it in a store doesn't equate to warming.
Stores factor in X percent of items being discounted/clearanced in their margin calculations. So just because a wave or line doesn't sell through at a rate that makes it impossible to find doesn't mean a store isn't happy with how the item sold. I think the issue with the TNF2 wave was the way it was packed. With the 4 figure case configuration, stores were repeatedly restocked when Macho and Sami sold. Initially, Typhoon and Earthquake were the hardest figures to find in my area. But Macho is one of the most popular wrestlers ever and a fantastic figure, and TNF was Sami's first readily available figure at retail since E40 didn't make it to many stores. There was no way Typhoon and Earthquake were going to sell at that same pace longterm. A 2/2/1/1 configuration probably would have been perfect.

Yea people don't know what warming is...I've seen people try to claim Summerslam Finn is warming everywhere and that Berzerker is warming and was a figure "no one" wanted
