I think it will be Nia. The story tells itself pretty much. Alexa pinned her in big Multi-Women matches, used her and hid behind her various times, and Nia is done with that.
They could really spin it anyway they want though and totally have Alexa turn face but I don't think they will. Nia also had that segment and match last week against (heel) Emma, and looked more like a Face.

Lol pretending like Faces and Heels are a thing in WWE 2017. After the non-response to Roman's attempted murder on Braun it became quite clear to me that everything exists in a heatless blob of grey with few exceptions. Anyone the fans like, turn them so they hate it. And everyone that the fans hate, don't change anything so they hate them too.

I would assume Alexa based on the fact that she is already getting better face reactions than everyone else. And that Nia attacked her in a heelish way.

I suspect it will be Alexa. It's just unfortunate that they're probably going to kill any heat/momentum the angle has by tossing the title back and forth repeatedly. The Raw Women's division has been a mess for over a year because of that terrible booking.

Upon thinking about it, I feel Alexa will stick to being the heel. Nia will take the title from her but will likely lose the rematch. Thus setting up for Alexa to be all " Im the greatest womans champion, even when I slip up I get my title right back. Im the closest thing to perfection that there is in the womens division"......then we get Asuka and her perfect win-loss record.

Alexa should never turn. She is one of the best and most natural heels in the company and cuts awesome promos.

Initially, it felt like there was a double turn with Alexa and Sasha. Alexa was drawing a lot of cheers and Sasha has been drawing more and more boos. Alexa got the clean pin. I was thinking Sasha was gonna attack Alexa from behind, THEN Nia Jax would come out , run Sasha off...only to turn on Alexa herself. But, still the way they had Nia turn on Alexa...makes you believe she is the heel. However, she also got cheered from the crowd following her turn. So I am really not sure. Perhaps WWE will make a final decision next week.

Why does a wrestler have to be a face? Both are heels, heel vs. heel works fine to me.

The people I'm a fan of at this point I'm a fan of them if they existed in a vacuum completely separate from the WWE's garbage booking and desperate thirst for all things HEAT. |
