I've got a friend that's trying to find a CM Punk from this time period: Anybody know if Mattel made one with this look? I'm not familiar with when this was but my friend said it was his Jesus Christ period.

Elite 6 or All Stars or Ringside Exclusive with Over The Limit basic headswap Thank you. My friends birthday is coming up and I asked if he was looking for any WWE figures, assuming he would say someone I already own. Of course he says the one I'm not familiar with. I'll go hunting it down though.

Off the top of my head, CM Punk over the limit figure.

Elite series 6, All Stars 2 pack (kinda pricey), Ringside Exclusive SES (really pricey; $100+), Battlepack with Luke Gallows or Over the Limit basic. Those are basically all of them.

Elite 6. I have one MOC. And seeing the MOC prices on Ebay makes me feel real good. It's safely stored away with E7 HBK, E10 Big Show and others.

Don't forget the Royal Rumble 2010 Basic figure! Forget the Royal Rumble 2010 Basic figure. It does have long hair and the beard but's not as good as the Over The Limit head. The OTL head looks like it was made just for that specific time period.

The OTL head looks like it was made just for that specific time period. You're right. That head is better, but the two Elites based on that time period both include that same head from the Royal Rumble 2010 figure. That one would probably be the easiest to get. But that reminds me. I really want one of those Over The Limit heads to put on my RSC Exclusive Punk figure.

I think of it more as the Charles Manson time period.
I popped the OTL head onto the Elite 6 body. As close to perfect as I'm going to get. If it wasn't so pricey, I would have gotten the RSC SES Punk loose and put the head on that one.

I'm curious as to how all this played out on TV.

I'm curious as to how all this played out on TV. He wasn't called Dirty Hippie Jesus for no reason! And the storytelling on TV was phenomenal. Worth a rewatch of that era of SmackDown for sure, starting with his cash-in at Extreme Rules into his incredibly slooooooooow heel turn on Jeff Hardy. It was, save Punk at MITB '11, the last time I was really, truly excited and engaged in a WWE story, in that I would anticipate all Friday at work that night's show.

I'm curious as to how all this played out on TV. It was pretty cool, he would get massive heat from the crowd for preaching his Straight Edge ways which was hilarious. He reformed Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury, shaved people's heads (Darren Young, Serena from the Mae Young Classic etc) and the Straight Edge Society was pretty much his cult. His feuds against Jeff Hardy, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio were good too. As for your original question, definitely go for Over The Limit or battle pack w/ Luke Gallows. They have the best SES likeness and won't cost an arm and a leg compared to his Elites.

I'll check it out for sure. I just got the Network recently, thanks to that three month free promo. The only WWE era CM Punk I've actually seen would be the promo he did on Raw with Cena and then the match they had. I only saw that thanks to my friend, David, the same friend that wants this Punk figure. I really liked CM Punk in ROH, and Joe Vs Punk II is one of my top five favorite matches. I was finished watching WWE by the time Punk was on the roster.
I do own the Elite 11 CM Punk, as I try to own just one figure of the wrestlers that I like and the figure that represents my favorite time period. Unless they had a dramatic change to warrant owning two. Example being, I only own Elite 23 Taker because it's my favorite time period so I don't own any others. Someone like Randy Savage though, that went from trunks to long tights, I own multiples. If some how a ROH era CM Punk got released by Mattel or another company, I would get rid of Elite 11.

I do the one figure thing, too. Saves money!
Hence I'm still Foley-less waiting on a Dude Love...

Someone made an awesome ROH Punk custom in white shorts a couple years ago. I have the picture saved on my phone because it was so great. Unfortunately I can upload it from my iPhone. It's somewhere within the hundreds of pages of the original fix up/custom thread

It's weird that he didn't get more elites when he was white hot. The only ones I could easily find were his last teo BAF line figures and his final elite. His world champ and prior runs... never saw that crap ever. I had to get E20 from either TRU.com or Mattel.com.
